Mastering the stages in Robots under attack! regularly requires a lot of patience which makes it a fun albeit sometimes irritating game.
Budget puzzlers may be a bit of a dime a dozen on the Switch but it's always nice to see ones that offer up something different...
Robots Under Attack! may not be bringing any terribly new ideas to the genre but what it does, it does well. The clean and clear aesthetic along with clever level design accomplishes what it sets out to do: provide a short and thoughtful experience. Whether you’re looking to kill a few minutes on the bus or wanting a brain workout before bedtime, figuring out how to blow up a bunch of robots is a satisfying use of time.
They say never judge a book by its cover, and I suppose never judge a game by its title would be the gaming equivalent. A name like Robots Under Attack, for me at least, calls for action and violence. Yet the reality behind the name was something different.
Robots under Attack! is an entertaining and enjoyable puzzle game that has given me more than a few hours of amusement as I blew up robots or watched them being cut in half by a saw. The game brought a smile to my face as I watched their demise!
