Critic Reviews for La-Mulana 1 & 2
Both La-Mulana games are excellent experiences for gamers looking to master elaborate 2D worlds filled with challenging bosses, platforming scenarios, and puzzles. With that said, it can still be a frustrating affair and one that casual gamers should avoid.
LA-MULANA 1 & 2 are games that have an incomparable spirit, and certainly have great intentions, but I think that the basic execution fails at a resounding level that is raised by having those desires, which are palpable throughout both installments. If you manage to forgive control and certain decisions, it is possible that for you it is an outstanding one.

Much like the father-daughter duo that comprise its protagonists, La-Mulana 1 & 2 are clever, tough-as-nails, and don’t hold anything back. There is absolutely no denying that these games are difficult, and those who don’t take a cautious approach and mind a bit of trial-and-error might easily find themselves flustered. However, for those of you who are currently stuck at home and wanting a bit of excitement in your lives, La-Mulana and Eg-Lana await your arrival.
La-Mulana 1 & 2 Hidden Treasures Edition is an interesting package for anyone looking for games with a focus on the high degree of challenge within the metroidvania genre. Although they are debuting on the current generation consoles, the games do not bring any improvements or novelties, such as galleries or new modes, things that usually exist in games released in the form of a collection or re-releases.
