Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
When I first started Expedition 33, I was enjoying it, but struggling to see just what it was that was garnering such elevated levels of hype. Now? Yeah, I get it.
A masterpiece in storytelling, character writing, art design, music and combat, it's surreal that it's @sandfallgames first rodeo and with

The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales
An incredible soundtrack, beautiful art style, and relatively fun gameplay (for a while) unfortunately aren't enough to carry Square Enix's latest HD-2D foray, which ultimately lands pretty flat.
Narratively, Elliott's adventure fails to grip me at any point; it's decidedly average even through two of the three available endings.
