Fallout modders are a passionate bunch, having worked on various massive, ambitious projects over the course of several years. Fallout: London was one such project, which launched last summer, while another gigantic DLC-sized mod called Fallout: Nuevo Mexico has also been in development for a while.

It was an incredibly ambitious project, aiming to take players out of the US and into the arid deserts of Mexico for the first time. It also promised to provide custom backgrounds for your characters, something that Fallout fans sick of the Vault intros have wanted for a while, and throw playable Ghouls into the mix too. Basically, everything Fallout fans wanted.
Unfortunately, unlike Fallout: London, it seems as though Fallout: Nuevo Mexico will never see the light of day. That's because the team behind the project has decided to cancel it entirely, as announced on the project's official Discord earlier today.
