Players will be able to choose how their Doom Slayer looks in DOOM Eternal.
DOOM Eternal will feature a number of customization options for players to choose from. Gamers will be able to unlock a number of skins, player animations, and podiums by playing through the game. Personalized Doom Slayer armor will appear in a variety of the game's modes, including the single-player campaign, photo mode, and BATTLEMODE. It was also revealed that those who link their Twitch and Bethesda.net accounts will gain access to the DOOMicorn Slayer Master Collection. This collection will grant players the DOOMicorn player skin, as well as a number of podiums, animations, and more. Gamers will have between March 20th and April 21st to obtain the DOOMicorn Slayer Master Collection.
It has also been revealed that those who pre-order DOOM Eternal will receive the Rip and Tear pack. This pack comes with the DOOT Revenant Skin, Cultist Base Master Level, and the Throwback Shotgun Weapon Skin.
Pre-ordering DOOM Eternal will also net gamers a free copy of DOOM 64. This version of DOOM 64 will come with a number of additions and improvements to the game. Players will be able to unlock a new chapter in the title, taking place shortly after the original's last part of the campaign. There will now be an autorun toggle, new brightness settings, and the option to turn the blood from red to green. Players will be able to toggle the automap with the Switch's touch controls and the PlayStation 4's touchpad. The Switch and PlayStation 4 versions of the game will also allow for motion controls.
DOOM Eternal will release for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia on March 20th. A Nintendo Switch version of the game is also in the works.
