Fragpunk Is Giving Players Ranked Points If They Lost To A Cheater

Like almost every other competitive online game, Fragpunk has already been inundated with a serious number of cheaters. Despite launching less than ten days ago, the Fragpunk team has confirmed that it has banned hundreds of those who seek to gain an unfair advantage against their competitors.

FragPunk has launched in an excellent state.

While banning cheaters isn't uncommon in a competitive shooter, the Fragpunk development team has gone one step further and is seemingly compensating any player who ends up facing off against one of these spoilsports.

Although not quite as extreme as Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's 19,000 bans or Marvel Rivals 100-year bans, Fragpunk confirmed it banned 271 players in the game's first three days, pledging "no mercy for cheaters."It seems, though, that if you're unfortunate enough to go up against one of these cheaters, the Fragpunk team will reward you for the poor experience.In a post on the Fragpunk subreddit, player Afraid-Ad9685 shared an apparent screenshot from the game. It read:

"Dear Lancer, during your ranked match on [redacted], our anti-cheat system confirmed that a player in the same match [redacted] was cheating. We've banned the relevant account(s) and have issued...
