The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered enjoyed a fine start to life. Despite being one of gaming's worst-ever kept secrets, the shadow-dropped title became one of the best-selling games of the year so far, instantly garnering praise from the gaming world, and a player count that came so close to beating the legendary Skyrim's.

As the saying goes, though, you can't keep a good man down, and right now, The Elder Scrolls IV: Skyrim has more people playing than Oblivion Remastered, a game which has been out for less than a month.
According to SteamDB, as of 7:54 am GMT on Tuesday, 20 March (2:54 am ET/11:54 pm PT), there are 18,001 players playing Skyrim, compared to the Oblivion Remaster, which has 16,735. This represents the first time that Skyrim has overtaken Oblivion Remastered since it launched last month on April 22.
