It's been exactly one month since The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered's totally surprise launch, which nobody ever saw coming. In that time, the title racked up four million players in just four days, and quickly went on to become one of 2025's best-selling titles so far.
The Remaster has been lauded for remaining so close to the original, just a lot better looking. Unfortunately, though, with that comes all of its quirks, and as Oblivion is a Bethesda title, there are plenty of those.
I just want an easy way to decorate my home.
As the game hits its one-month anniversary, many, if not all, of those quirks remain, but Bethesda and Virtuos have yet to release a patch. At this point, some of the game's glaring issues have become very much unwelcome by its community, and calls have been getting louder and louder for it to receive some kind of update.
Usually, within the first few weeks of a game's release, the development team is hard at work pushing out hotfixes for many of its most egregious bugs. That hasn't been the case with the Oblivion Remaster, and it's caused a bit of a stink...
