Selling more than 8 million copies in its first three days, Monster Hunter Wilds became Capcom's fastest-selling game to date, with players applauding the title's story and vast open world. Unfortunately, PC players have faced an uphill battle, as even those with more powerful setups have struggled with massive performance issues since the game's launch. It was recently announced that the next Monster Hunter Wilds update would be released ahead of schedule, bumping it from a September launch to August 13. While this patch will include some new content and more improvements across the board, those on PC will need to wait a while for a truly smooth gaming experience, as according to the title's director, many more performance updates are on the way.
