Roblox has been through the controversy ringer lately. The game's purportedly a haven for child predators to target minors on the internet, which has, understandably, sparked a great deal of criticism. It's got Chris Hansen investigating it. Some of those changes are coming soon. Whether they're good, bad, helpful, invasive, or anything in-between is up in the air right now, although one particular change - the ratings system designations - is arguably an objectively good call. Let's dig in.
In an online post from Matt Kaufman, Roblox's Chief Safety Officer, Roblox has explained what it's calling an "ambitious plan" to include age estimation technology in the near future.
