If you've been getting frustrated in Borderlands 4 because most class mod drops are for a completely different class than the one you're playing, you're not alone.

YouTuber Dantics crunched the numbers and found that mod drops are actually weighted against your class; for example, if you're playing as Rafa, you're far more likely to get class mods for Amon, Harlowe, and Vex.

They proved this in their new Borderlands 4 myth-busting video by defeating Callis with Rafa 100 times on Ultimate Vault Hunter Rank 5, and the results are exactly what we've all been experiencing since launch:

They did the same on Ultimate Vault Hunter Rank 1 as Harlowe, and were met with very similar results:

So, if you want to get the right class mod, your best bet is to play as a completely different class. It's not exactly ideal, and unfortunately, it's not even the only way that loot is broken right now.
