Pokemon Legends: Z-A has come under fire in some circles "thanks" to its notoriously iffy-looking building textures, but if you can look past that — and I'm not saying those are acceptable, to be clear, but they are what they are — then there's actually a good deal worth celebrating in the graphical department.
No, nothing looks particularly groundbreaking. Yes, an argument can be made that the whole production for such a great-selling series should get an upgrade. But, all things considered, human NPCs look fairly well-realized, and the Pokemon themselves are more vivid than they've been in quite some time. Since the 3D era began, there's been a depressing trend of desaturation for many 'Mon designs; exceptions certainly exist, but by and large, the vast collection of creatures hasn't been this colourful in a long time. Fans are noticing this decisive Z-A strength, and they've got a lot to say on the subject.
