Don't Bother Doing A Pacifist Run In The Outer Worlds 2, As It's Apparently "Impossible"

Two enemies in The Outer Worlds 2 apparently make it "impossible" to complete a pacifist run, which one unfortunate player has learned the hard way.

Although The Outer Worlds 2 has noticeably better gunplay than the first game and you can feasibly go around killing pretty much anyone you like, I think we're all in agreement that talking, sneaking, and tricking your way out of situations is the best way to play. With that in mind, the most dedicated players are likely to attempt a pacifist run where they complete the game without killing anyone.

Pacifist runs have been doable in previous Obsidian games like Fallout New Vegas and even the first Outer Worlds, so you'd expect that to be true of The Outer Worlds 2 as well. As it turns out, though, that apparently isn't the case, as a single quest means that it's "impossible" to do a true pacifist run.

Over on The Outer Worlds subreddit, Redditor Towrads shared their heartbreaking story of learning the hard way that The Outer Worlds 2 doesn't let you do a full pacifist run. According to them, they were in the middle of a successful pacifist run before hitting the main story...
