Battlefield 6's new update, the California Resistance update, is now live. As a result of some unintended changes, or someone tweaking the values for balance, defibrillators are now pretty much completely broken. I've personally witnessed medics trying to revive me for several charges of the defibs before just resorting to using a manual revival. It seems like the issue is commonplace.

The problem has been addressed by Florian (Drunkkz23) on X.com which suggests the team is aware and are working on fixes. Although defibs are the most obvious broken thing in the new update, some other smaller things have also cropped up.
You might have noticed an inability to properly revive people using the defibs since the most recent Battlefield 6 update went live. You are not alone. It appears the patch has broken the hitboxes for the defibs and made them very inconsistent. This might have been a balance pass gone rogue, as it seems like you need to be standing directly over a downed ally, or crouched above them, to get a consistent revive each time.
