If there was ever any doubt about how desperate Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is to shake off some early controversies since its launch on November 14, then look no further than its plans for Season 01 — a stacked slate of new maps, modes, weapons and even some freebies that is far more packed than previous rumors could have ever suggested.

As outlined in the Call of Duty blog, Season 01, which is set for a December 4 release, will see the launch of six new multiplayer maps, including a remaster of Standoff, plus eight new multiplayer modes, many of which are fan-favorite "party" modes like Gun Game and Sticks & Stones.

The single player campaign in Black Ops 7 is a profound waste of your time.

All that barely scratches the surface, as Zombies, Warzone and the extraction mode "Endgame" are all getting updates, and they're equally massive. Perhaps most interesting is the fact that all players will get "The Replacer" Operator skin for free.
