We’re Finally Getting A New F-Zero Game Thanks To The Virtual Boy, Kind Of

Remember when Nintendo revealed its reviving the Virtual Boy and putting its games on the Switch and Switch 2? Turns out it wasn't kidding. The equipment you need to play those games is now available to pre-order ready for the opening of the Virtual Boy wing on NSO next month. Even better, as part of Nintendo's pre-order announcement, it revealed two Virtual Boy games that were never released will eventually be added to its collection.

That's right, despite the Virtual Boy's incredibly limited roster, Nintendo has somehow figured out a way to stagger its additions to NSO just like it has done with all of the other virtual consoles available through the service. There will be seven Virtual Boy games to choose from when the system joins NSO on February 17, 2026, all of which can be found below.

The edge has been taken off a staggered release schedule for the Virtual Boy's games by the promise of what's to come.
