Alien: Isolation Sequel Will Be Made in UE5 and Have a "Multi-Year" Release | TechRaptor

Eagle-eyed observers have spotted job listings pointing to a potentially interesting release cadence for the upcoming Alien: Isolation sequel, following on from the release of a new trailer yesterday.

ResetEra user RandomlyRandom67 noticed that a listing for a game design director for the project describes an "ambitious multi-year release plan" for the game, which still appears to be in the early stages of development.

It's not entirely clear what this means for Alien: Isolation 2 (which may or may not end up being the game's name), but it sounds like the sequel could be targeting an Early Access release, or potentially even pivoting to a live-service direction. I don't think that's advisable, but I'm not on Sega's board, after all.

It's also possible, of course, that a "multi-year release plan" could just mean the game will be ported to several systems over the course of a number of years, or that more stuff will be added over time, either through free updates or paid DLC. It's too early to tell right now, but the phrasing seems a little odd, to say the least.
