After Years Of Asking For Harder Content, ESO Players Are Complaining About Harder Content

For years, The Elder Scrolls Online players have asked for more challenging zones akin to Craglorn, difficulty options for the Overland content, and harder story quests. I've brought it up in several interviews with the team, and always had the same acknowledging chuckle of, 'Yeah, we know.' Finally, under its new seasonal model, Zenimax has the freedom to up the ante, but the complaints have only flipped: now, it's too hard.

Yesterday, the limited-time Night Market event zone went live, offering three factions for players to pledge to as they launch sorties throughout Fargrave against some of the most challenging PvE content in the game. In practice, the area is one big trial, demanding group co-ordination to survive even rudimentary enemies. To that end, there's an activity finder to help match you with strangers, much as you would for dungeons. It's exactly what community veterans have been clamoring for, a gauntlet that pushes endgame builds to their absolute limit.
