The Legend of Zelda is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, and over the years we really have enjoyed some amazing games that are well worth celebrating at times like this. Moving forward, there's presumably plenty more to come in that department, though Nintendo has remained relatively quiet about what their actual plans are for the time being.
That said, one thing we do know about that's coming down the pipeline relatively imminently is the movie adaptation, and with the limited amount we have seen so far, it could be one of the best Nintendo cinematic releases ever. Now, a new announcement from the company about their release plans for the movie has been made, and it should come as great news for those waiting in the wings.
Over on Twitter/X, the official Nintendo page shared an update from Nintendo director and all-round legend Shigeru Miyamoto, confirming that the Zelda movie is on the way a little sooner than we all expected.
