While The First Descendant still continues to draw huge player numbers, Nexon's free-to-play title remains a frustration for fans.

Despite an interesting new mechanic, things feel "off".

The overuse of Bunny, aggressive microtransactions, and paints that look nothing like the ones advertised have been bugbears for the community thus far, and now, with the game's pre-season well underway, discontent remains.

One player shared their dissatisfaction on The First Descendant's Subreddit. They asked their fellow Descendants if they thought one of the game's seasonal challenges was excessive, to which there was a fairly unanimous response. The challenge in question requires players to defeat 200,000 enemies, with the original poster sitting at just shy of 57,000.

With only a short window to hit this massive milestone, one player said, "Most of the challenges are way too inflated for the average gamer," adding, "Heck, it's a grind for even those who put a lot of hours into the game." Another player, who claimed to have put 260 hours into the game, racking up around 130,000 kills, proved this theory.
