Though it may look like nothing special on the surface, DISTRAINT is a worthwhile adventure game about the toll greed can take. Horror imagery is used to display the main character's all-consuming guilt, and the smart sound design amplifies it perfectly. While the story isn't especially long, it's absorbing and gives you a lot to think about.
Superhot is short but full of style and substance, taking an inventive mechanic to its furthest and providing a unique shooter experience. The current offering is slim, but unlike anything else around.
Project X-Zone 2 is a dream crossover on paper that falters in execution, failing to excel in any area beyond unabashed novelty. The quality of the cast and engaging juggling mechanic are the most you'll likely get out of this crossover RPG.
Pokemon X & Y set a new standard for Pokemon games to come. The advances in this game are well worth the $40, and if you’re interested in the online aspect, I’m happy to say that it is booming and has hours of entertainment to offer. It has improve upon the series in almost every way, so if you’re a fan who has been dragging your feet to buy X or Y, because they’ve been waiting for one of the games to finally break the monotony and change the series in some major ways, then this is the game you’ve been waiting for. There has never been a better time to set out on the never-ending quest to Catch ‘Em All.
If you enjoy putting together model planes, then SimplePlanes is for you. The build mode presents you with seemingly endless possibilities, or you can sample from vehicles the community has created. When it comes to the simulation aspect of this aircraft simulator, it brings nothing new to the table.
Wondershot succeeds at being an entertaining party game, but is too easy to master, and best played in small doses.
Dying Light: The Following takes a gaming great and gives you the ability to drive a buggy over zombie piles on top of it all. A true expansion, The Following provides players with an all new area of Harran to explore, new game features and items, and the ability to drive a vehicle and level your skills as a driver and a runner. Even with a fairly high number of issues and drawbacks, the quality is far and above anything negative the expansion carries with it. A drastic departure from the original that manages to maintain all of the charm and character that makes Dying Light a flickering flame worth protecting, The Following is a must own for all.
Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is not for everyone, but to its credit it doesn't try to be. This game shines with pride knowing it gave it's all to celebrate fans of the Naruto Shippuden anime and doesn't look back. At its worst Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is just as good as any of its predecessors and at its best it only made things better. It's functional, fun, and crammed full of enough different modes to satisfy anyone interested in giving it chance. Anything beyond that is just a matter of taste, but if you're even bothering to wonder about a Naruto tie-in video game, that really shouldn't be much of an obstacle.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is a fantastic gameplay experience that shows no signs of age, despite an underwhelming visual upgrade.
Megadimension Neptunia VII is a story about a girl in a very strange world, but that world happens to be a apocalyptic bizarro dimension inside of a video game console. The game manages to be fun with only a limited amount of improvement. Continuing with its signature game within a game concept, Megadimension Neptunia VII is going to please fans and not do much to change the minds of detractors. Very similar to the past titles in the series, this game is tried and true because Neptune never changes.
Dungelot: Shattered Lands is a fun combination of Minesweeper and a dungeon crawler that you'll surely keep coming back to. While not without its moments of frustration, overall this game rewards you for skill more than it ruins you with bad luck. What it lacks in story it makes up for in its variety of creatures, items, challenges, and treasures.
One Piece: Romance Dawn probably won’t be the worst anime based RPG you play, but it will certainly be one of the laziest designed. The combat system may be engaging enough for fans who are already familiar enough with the story to know what to expect, but for newcomers this game is a disservice to the fun of the series. Someday, when a better title takes its place, Romance Dawn will have a respectful position for where it all began. But for now, this is just a dud of a game in the box of a collectible import.
Amazing Discoveries in Outer Space is a unique amalgamation of several genres that does not come together in a cohesive way. The platforming and production value are rough, while the exploration is largely uneventful and monotonous.
While some problems that weren't present in the Vita version have made their way into Danganronpa on PC, everything that makes the game great is still intact on the platform.

Coupled with a sweet-spot pricing of just $7.99 for two platforms, if you've not taken the leap already, and enjoy head-scratching puzzles, this is a must have.
Hero and Daughter+ boasts tons of dungeons to explore, powerful girls to summon, and enemies to defeat. Unfortunately, this seems to be a case of quantity over quality, as most of the characters have flimsy backstories and there are very few surprises. Instead of being treated to a richly detailed story about the world and its inhabitants, making progress largely feels like a joyless numbers game.
The newest installment in the Far Cry franchise runs into a few hiccups, most namely its tiring combat system. The new taming/companion system is well executed and Ubisoft has crafted a respectable amount of detail with their sculpture of 10,000 BCE. While it sometimes feels like just more Far Cry, that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Although it has problems going against it, Gemini: Heroes Reborn has some great ideas and fun gameplay that make-up for it's shortcomings. I recommend this game, and although it falls short it is definitely worth the $14.99 price tag.
