Assassin's Creed Mirage has a shallow story and a superficial presentation, much like a typical Ubisoft title.

Since its release, the profound impact of its storytelling has gone on to inspire countless other productions. Once again, CD Projekt delivers an exceptional expansion with Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. At times, I cannot help but wish the main game had launched with the same level of polish and refinement as this DLC. Nevertheless, Phantom Liberty reignited my appreciation for the base game. One of its greatest strengths is the way it balances intense political intrigue with equally powerful emotional drama, creating an experience that feels both gripping and deeply impactful.

While presenting its semi-fictional, semi-historical vision of Japan shaped by different eras, the game does far more than simply incorporate the country’s landscapes and samurai attire into the story. Sucker Punch Productions carefully weaves countless cultural elements into the experience, ranging from the code and discipline of being a samurai to Japanese customs and traditions, as well as legends, folklore, and even the art of haiku poetry. The studio goes to remarkable lengths to ensure that players truly feel like they belong to that world.

We can understand just how exceptional an RPG masterpiece Baldur's Gate 3 truly is from one simple fact: it’s nearly impossible to spoil. Beyond the game’s opening hour, almost everything can change depending on the choices we make. Two players who begin the adventure at the exact same moment can end up experiencing and finishing two entirely different journeys. The characters we choose to befriend or oppose, how much attention we give to their personal stories, and how far we decide to carry those narratives all shape the experience. Even the roads we take, the passages we cross, and the seemingly minor decisions made along the way can lead to dramatically different outcomes from beginning to end.
