The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me doesn’t offer any major innovations in terms of gameplay or graphics, but it still manages to stand out as the best entry in The Dark Pictures Anthology series so far, coming closer than ever to reaching the quality level of Until Dawn.

The game runs smoothly, is genuinely fun, and looks as beautiful as it possibly can. It fully delivers on everything it promises.

Black Myth: Wukong is easily one of the best-looking games of the current generation. It’s clear that the game takes full advantage of everything Unreal Engine 5 has to offer. The world design, armor sets, and character models all look absolutely stunning. While there are occasional issues with the lighting, they do little to diminish the game’s breathtaking visual spectacle.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree contains so much content that it almost makes other DLCs look insignificant by comparison. With 8 new weapon categories, more than 10 bosses, over 100 weapons, countless spells, and new Ashes of War, the expansion feels enormous. On top of that, it features a vast open world to explore that nearly rivals the scale of the main game itself. If there’s one thing FromSoftware consistently excels at, it’s giving players every bit of value for their money.

The Rogue Prince of Persia deserves major praise for its art direction. Even though the game features no voice acting, its soundtrack more than makes up for it. The music blends perfectly with the atmosphere and visual style, becoming another standout element that deserves just as much recognition.

One of Senua's Saga: Hellblade II’s defining strengths — its atmosphere and sound design — is once again delivered flawlessly. The bleak tone created through its muted color palette, combined with the lighting and landscapes used in particularly tense moments, further proves just how exceptional the game’s artistic direction truly is.

There is still no game capable of doing what Elden Ring achieves. Ever since its release, it has remained the finest example of its genre — and perhaps even one of the greatest video games ever made.

Dragon's Dogma 2 manages to surpass the original in nearly every way after all these years, delivering visuals that are close to flawless. While the game fully lives up to its AAA budget in terms of graphics and gameplay, it unfortunately falls short when it comes to optimization.

Rise of the Ronin succeeds in many areas where several entries in Assassin's Creed fall short. The game handles many of the familiar open-world RPG formulas in a surprisingly polished and effective way.

The emotionally detached protagonist, combined with repetitive mission design throughout the experience, significantly diminished my overall enjoyment of the game. While there are enjoyable elements, particularly the ship mechanics and naval combat, it is disappointing to see a title that spent seven years in development reach players in such an unpolished and careless state.

If you evaluate Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden piece by piece, it feels remarkably next-gen. Even the RPG elements integrated through a single mechanic are genuinely satisfying. The combat system offers solid variety, and the enemy AI rarely becomes frustrating.

Alan Wake 2 masterfully uses its tension-filled atmosphere to keep players constantly on edge, and with the brilliance of its horror sequences, it gradually becomes a game that feels difficult to experience alone.

Lies of P does not open the doors to a completely unprecedented adventure, nor does it reinvent the genre. However, it succeeds remarkably well at innovating on an existing formula by introducing fresh ideas. Despite its flaws, these minor imperfections never outweigh the game’s success in achieving what it sets out to do.
