8.5 / 10.0 - Crimson Desert
May 9, 2026

Of course, it has its flaws and shortcomings, and I already tried to address them above. But the massive vision it presents, along with its pure sense of adventure and freedom, is so powerful that it deserves to go down in history as one of the boldest and most spectacular games the industry has seen in recent years. Every player who wants to experience limitless freedom, chaos, and exploration should step into the continent of Pywel and experience this game for themselves.

8 / 10.0 - Mixtape
May 8, 2026

In a game industry where everything is changing one way or another and undergoing a fundamental paradigm shift, Beethoven & Dinosaur deserves praise for taking an active role in this transformation instead of taking refuge in the comfort of uniformity. Mixtape stands as an important example of how independent game development, with the right project management, can achieve both cinematic creativity and a modest, heartfelt style of storytelling at the same time.

5.5 / 10.0 - Saros
May 6, 2026

While Saros tries to offer its protagonist, who seeks to rewrite the past, “a new tomorrow,” it unfortunately traps the player in the same cycle. Although the player-friendly features added following feedback from Returnal create a much smoother experience, the balance of difficulty can occasionally spiral out of control. As a result, Saros ends up being a game that addresses the shortcomings of the genres Housemarque knows best, while also dulling some of the studio’s greatest strengths.

7 / 10.0 - Pragmata
Apr 23, 2026

In an industry where everything feels increasingly homogenized and repetitive, Pragmata stands out as a breath of fresh air — a game that feels both familiar and entirely new at the same time. With its innovative gameplay, consistently engaging pacing, gameplay loop that constantly keeps the player on their toes, and lovable characters, it’s safe to say that Capcom has created a promising new franchise.

6 / 10.0 - Marathon
Mar 30, 2026

If you have a group of three friends and want to experience PvP action in a retro-futuristic world, Marathon will likely provide plenty of enjoyable moments. However, if you’re expecting the same level of content richness we know from Halo and Destiny, then I don’t think Marathon is the right game for you.

Despite everything, in today’s industry where the platformer genre is often treated as a blank slate to simply build upon, games like this still hold a valuable place thanks to their straightforward approach. However, the comfort that comes with being ‘old-school’ should not make studios forget that game design itself needs to evolve just as much as production values do. In this regard, Darwin’s Paradox! unfortunately fails to go beyond offering lazy nostalgia, wasting much of its high potential.

5.5 / 10.0 - Reanimal
Mar 1, 2026

Reanimal is a remarkably unique production in terms of creativity and horror design. Its outstanding art direction and striking visual vision will undoubtedly stay in my mind for a long time. Unfortunately, those are not the only things that will remain memorable about the game. If you are expecting a title from the former Little Nightmares team where every element works in harmony, the story steadily escalates, and the finale leaves you genuinely surprised, then in my opinion, this is not the game you are looking for.

Feb 28, 2026

Resident Evil Requiem is an enjoyable sequel that successfully blends the different gameplay styles Capcom has developed over the years into a single cohesive experience. It is also likely the highest-production example of the survival horror genre to date. While its expensive development process clearly shows through strengths such as smooth optimization, innovative gameplay mechanics, and intricate level design, the game still carries some of the series’ familiar weaknesses, particularly in pacing and screenplay writing. Bringing together both old and new generations of players, Resident Evil Requiem feels like a celebration of everything the franchise has offered so far. Despite its flaws, it ultimately succeeds as an exciting experiment within today’s increasingly soulless gaming industry.

7.5 / 10.0 - Nioh 3
Feb 6, 2026

Nioh 3 is not an entirely new product, but it delivers the cleanest and most refined version of everything its predecessors established. The game feels like a well-crafted culmination of all the experience Team Ninja has gained from Nioh, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, Rise of the Ronin, and Ninja Gaiden. Although its open-world design occasionally becomes repetitive and the world itself can feel lifeless, the game manages to cover many of these shortcomings with its satisfying and deep combat mechanics, extensive build variety, and the Style Shift system. Nioh 3 also serves as another reminder of just how masterful Team Ninja is when it comes to creating action games.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 shows that the Call of Duty franchise is becoming increasingly lazy instead of truly innovating. Its use of AI-generated elements and the endgame mode added merely to stretch the campaign are some of the clearest examples of this approach. Relying heavily on the power of the brand name and the massive fanbase it has built over the years, the company chooses to play things extremely safe. A messy story, a bloated experience that barely feels like a proper single-player game, and a multiplayer mode that is enjoyable at best — that is ultimately the clearest summary of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.

9 / 10.0 - Dispatch
Nov 16, 2025

Dispatch is a fantastic game. With its masterfully written story, colorful cast of characters, and sharp sense of humor, it stands as one of the best interactive games made in recent years. If you’ve been missing this genre, it is absolutely a title you should try without a second thought.

7 / 10.0 - Keeper
Oct 28, 2025

Keeper is a game that can make you feel tiny at times and enormous at others. Unlike today’s gaming trends, which constantly push players to become “the biggest force in the room,” its patient and deliberate progression feels far more rewarding in my opinion.

9 / 10.0 - Ghost of Yotei
Oct 20, 2025

Ghost of Yōtei emerges as a sequel that improves upon its predecessor in almost every way. This evolution is especially noticeable in the visual quality of its cutscenes, the variety of weapons, and the newly introduced gameplay mechanics. It has been a long time since I played a game this immersive — one I simply did not want to step away from.

7 / 10.0 - EA Sports FC 26
Oct 20, 2025

Unless you are a huge fan of football games, I have to say that this is not a game worth its extremely high price tag. Electronic Arts continues to benefit from being the only developer producing a major high-budget football title on the market, but hopefully next year the company will pay closer attention to real players’ feedback and deliver a more polished and advanced experience.

Dying Light: The Beast is essentially a hybrid experience that borrows the mechanics of the second game while embracing the atmosphere of the first. By combining the strongest aspects of both titles, the developers have managed to create a solid overall package. In fact, the one thing almost nobody could criticize about the second game was its parkour mechanics, and those elements remain one of the biggest strengths here as well.

Claws of Awaji is, without question, one of the least defensible pieces of digital content I have ever experienced. I genuinely cannot think of a single positive thing to say about it. First and foremost, this is not a proper DLC — it feels more like a side quest being sold separately for money.

7.5 / 10.0 - Hades II
Sep 28, 2025

Supergiant Games seems somewhat reluctant to take major risks with Hades II following the success of the first game, instead choosing to continue refining the elements the studio already excels at. However, by reducing or altering some of the aspects the original handled better, the sequel struggles to demonstrate enough meaningful growth and evolution after a five-year wait. Hades II is certainly not a bad game, and fans of the first title will still enjoy returning to its gameplay loop time and time again. Still, after such a long development period, not encountering a significantly more ambitious or polished sequel may leave some players disappointed.

9 / 10.0 - Silent Hill f
Sep 22, 2025

Silent Hill is truly a special franchise. Even though it has lost some of its popularity in recent years, it has always remained one of my favorite game series of all time. The resurgence that began with Silent Hill 2 looks set to continue with Silent Hill f as well. This is a game I would strongly recommend to anyone who enjoys psychological horror. At the same time, it also serves as a fantastic opportunity for players who drifted away from the series to finally return.

Team Cherry managed to live up to the enormous expectations once again, proving the power of true passion projects. Hollow Knight: Silksong, much like the first Hollow Knight, is an unforgettable experience that touches the heart through every corner of its world, every moment of its journey, and every note of its soundtrack — a game that will continue to echo in our memories for years to come.

Cronos: The New Dawn is a genuinely strong title for players who have been longing for a proper survival horror experience. Its story may not be the element that stands out the most, but the game delivers a highly enjoyable experience through its atmosphere and gameplay design. In particular, it has been a long time since science fiction and horror were blended together with this level of quality and confidence.
