God is a Geek's Reviews

Oct 8, 2018

Not only is it the best platformer on the PSVR, it's also good enough to rival some of the recent releases on modern consoles. It's a fun, friendly, and charming title that will make you 'ooh' and 'ahh' for the game's duration.

Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise will undoubtedly appeal to fans of the series. For others, the wacky combat is the main draw, which should be enough to offset some pacing and story issues.

Disgaea 1 Complete is the definitive version of the first game in of the best tactical RPG franchises ever.

8.5 / 10.0 - NHL 19
Oct 4, 2018

For one of the first times in recent years, the NHL series feels much more improved, with the World of CHEL mode proving to be a resounding success.

8.5 / 10.0 - Super Mario Party
Oct 3, 2018

Twenty years in the making this Mario Party is indeed Super.

Valkyria Chronicles IV's playbook is a beautifully illustrated, tactical delight.

6.5 / 10.0 - Flood of Light
Oct 2, 2018

For some, Flood of Light will be a relaxing, thought-provoking puzzler perfect for a rainy day. For others its slow pace, frustrating collectibles and difficulty will mean reaching for another title instead.

7 / 10.0 - Mega Man 11
Oct 1, 2018

Mega Man 11 is exactly what fans will want, but it does nothing to really improve on the old games and make Mega Man relevant in 2018.

A huge, ambitious game building on the solid foundations of Origins to deliver a game that feels like another positive step towards a very interesting future for the franchise.

A beautiful, relaxing puzzler that demands little more than your attention.

Probably the most un-Final Fantasy game in the series history XV Pocket Edition HD at least provides a decent game to get us going before more full-fat titles arrive.

It's not going to be known quite yet if Life is Strange is essential, but early signs are that this sequel is going to be as good as season one was.

6.5 / 10.0 - Immortal: Unchained
Sep 26, 2018

An ambitious venture for a low-budget indie studio, but one that manages to stand out in the crowd despite its flaws.

9.5 / 10.0 - Forza Horizon 4
Sep 25, 2018

Forza Horizon 4's handling is the best the series has ever seen, and its shared world gameplay offers an incredible amount of fun. It could well be the best racer out there.

Sep 25, 2018

Despite its dumb name Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker can provide a good time, but it needs much more variety in its online play to be worthwhile.

7 / 10.0 - Transference
Sep 25, 2018

There's a lot to like about the way Transference tries to tell its story, but it often lacks direction which pulls you out of the experience.

Sep 25, 2018

A thoughtful, deep and rewarding RPG, with some great puzzles and a story that may not be groundbreaking, but sure is fun.

Sep 25, 2018

A compilation that will appeal to die-hard fans mainly. Others might fancy a dabble but will soon be put off be the repetition and lack of challenge before moving on to something else.

I thoroughly enjoyed the VR elements including it's stellar gameplay. Matches are intense, and the focus on team play does the game justice.

A fantastic standalone prequel to the excellent Xenoblade Chronicles 2 that is held back by one really annoying design decision.
