From top to bottom, Resident Evil 2 is a stellar achievement from a team that obviously loved the source material and went to great lengths to update and enhance it without losing that original magic.

Despite being rather short, Pikuniku is sure to please players anyway thanks to its pleasant presentation, relaxed atmosphere, goofy characters, and its world that's just plain fun to explore.

With fast and fluid combat, endearing characters and a grounded story that isn't afraid to crack a few jokes, Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal represents the series at it's finest. That said, if you take issue with the sexualization of its characters, then this game is not for you.

Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition shows its age in some areas, but with its enjoyable characters, interesting story, beautiful aesthetic and fun combat, this is one game from 2008 that definitely still holds up in 2019.

With some better combat choices and animation this could have been a revolutionary release from 13AM Games, but even without that lofty goal it's a definite safe buy for anyone wanting a great new platformer.

Borderlands 2 VR continues the trend of enjoyable but flawed ports of larger, traditionally designed games. Few additions make the cut to enhance the experience, but the simple fact of existing in virtual reality adds significantly to the overall gameplay.

Worth the wait, Below is a Rouge lite that doesn't hold your hand and asks you figure out the rules of this world on your own.  It makes for a fulfilling, albeit difficult journey.

Darksiders 3 is a much different game than its predecessors.  The ideas here aren't bad, so much as they are poorly executed.  There's still an interesting story and great presentation to experience, but you'll likely have to overlook the technical issues even if the core gameplay suits you.
