The Last of Us Remastered is as brilliant as ever and is a must-buy for any PS4 owner.
Divinity: Original Sin is a classic RPG from top to bottom. Unfortunately some of those older elements could have used some extra polish and improvement. However, for those looking to relive the glory days of PC RPG's this is the game for you.
Gods Will Be Watching is certainly a unique experience, but that doesn't make it an interesting one. It relies too much on random chance and does nothing to compensate for the frustration that will cause. Unless you enjoy punishment you might want to avoid.
The Swapper is one of the most unique and fun puzzle games to release in the last few years and is definitely not one to miss.
Risen 3: Titan Lords is an old-school RPG that will appeal to only the hardcore Risen/Gothic community. For the rest, this last-gen offering is one that will likely fly under the radar. And given that well-executed freedom of exploration and passable combat barely balance out the handful of negative aspects, this is one experience that can wait for a price drop.
Akiba's Trip: Undead & Undressed does a great job of introducing a franchise to fans and giving them what they want. Fun.
Blizzard does a lot of things right with its console specific features in Diablo III: Reaper of Souls Ultimate Evil Edition. More importantly, these features only add to a game that is reaching parity with the PC version.
The Last Tinker creates a vibrant and colorful world, but does little else right causing the game to feel unfortunately cold and lifeless. Check it out if you want something bright and cheery, but avoid if you need anything more engaging.
Impressive visuals and gameplay innovations for the stealth genre, Counter Spy is an impressive first offering from this new studio. While it's not perfect, and near broken in some cases, stealth fans who buy on PS4 or PS3 won't likely leave disappointed.
Madden NFL 15 improves even further on last year's game and truly proves that defense wins championships.
Metro Redux is the definitive way to play both Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light. New players should pick it up without any worry, but previous owners might have less incentive. The enhanced graphics and gameplay should be enough to please most fans though.
Professor Layton VS Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney combines two very different but still complementary series into one exciting experience for your handheld.
The Walking Dead: Season Two Episode 5 - No Going Back tugs at the heartstrings more than ever and brings another superb season of The Walking Dead to a close.
Manages to live up to the name to be the ultimate package for fans of Warriors Orochi 3.
Dance Central Spotlight is a very good formula to follow for future music games with a cheap cost of admission and the chance to build your own personal collection of songs.
Dead Rising 3: Apocalypse Edition offers an improved experience on PC, but it is held back by some of the same problems that existed in the original game. If your PC is powerful enough to run it at full speed then it is an enjoyable experience that is worth checking out.
Not a perfect RPG but a very good first step for a new IP with a lot of potential.
Destiny offers a lot of promise, but ultimately fails to deliver on everything it attempts. Still, thanks to Bungie's fantastic FPS design you will have fun playing the game. How much time you are willing to put into it will largely depend on how easily you get past the repetitive missions and maps.
NHL 15 looks impressive on the surface with graphics and gameplay, but way too many features have been cut or neutered this time around.
Hyrule Warriors meets and exceeds any expectations set for the game. It offers a ton of gameplay through unlockables and various modes, and will entertain with its Zelda fan-service. However the gamplay is still repetitive and non-fans will likely want to avoid.
