Assassin's Creed Odyssey puts the franchise back on the map as a critical darling. There's no malaka here whatsoever as it just "Greeks" of goodness. The story and characters are engaging and there are tons of activities to do. Greek culture and locations are a wonder to behold. Barring a few caveats, this has been a stellar offering for the franchise.
V-Rally 4 features a lot of exhilarating moments that make it one of the most engaging racers I've ever played. A decent selection of disciplines and beautiful graphics make this a good pick-up for any casual off-road racing fan.
Pig Eat Ball is easily one of the best games I've played this year.
Returning fans of Life Is Strange will find this sequel refreshing, but not unfamiliar. With its brand new setting and story, Life Is Strange 2 is also a great point of entry for any new players. As a fan of the series, I'm excited to follow the Diaz brothers on their new adventure.
With terrible controls, laughably horrible physics and broken features, Super Street: The Game belongs in once place—the junkyard.
Witch Thief has some good ideas and is fun at times, but it's poorly thought-out and extremely frustrating, even considering the bullet hell genre.

An engaging hilarious visual novelization in an easy to play format. Cheesy dialogue with just the right amount of cheese! Entertaining and not very long to play through at all. You will want to revisit this time and time again.
NASCAR Heat 3 provides a merely okay racing experience that's just not worth it's $50 asking price.
There is a noticeable emphasis on the narrative. Although Shadow of the Tomb Raider modifies what we've grown accustomed to within the franchise, the change of pace is welcomed. You'll find pockets of open-world to explore, with tons of side-quests and interactions with NPCs. Don't expect guns-a-blazin', but do expect getting more than you bargained for from this Tomb Raider experience.
Ultimate Fishing Simulator captures a lot of intricate little details which helps make it feel like a truly authentic fishing experience.
Hypergun's modular weapons make for wildly imaginative guns, but the game suffers from repetitive elements that drag this roguelite shooter down.
Guacamelee! 2 has a few minor issues, but the core is so good and the game improves in all the right ways on its predecessor.
F1 2018 provides a truly authentic racing sim experience that should satisfy enthusiasts, but might scare away casual race fans.
Graveyard Keeper is a black comedy disguised as a management sim. Though entertaining, it's plagued by cumbersome upgrade systems and taxing tech trees.
Barbearian is a hack'n'slash with a lot of character. While the visual style didn't really resonate with me, it's easy to look past that while you're neck deep in enemies and bouncing along to the amazing soundtrack the game has to offer.
Although We Happy Few makes a strong first impression, it's hampered by half-baked gameplay systems and a lack of crucial quality-of-life features.
Great game design wise and play ability wise with a cute story to go along with it. It has the right kind of balance of being both easy to play and challenging at the same time. It really makes you think. The sequel is great for those who want to get into the series and you don't need to have played the first to get into it. Overall a solid solid game.
Dead Cells is an excellent, challenging "roguevania" that encourages player experimentation and exploration across its beautiful levels.
An enjoyable rogue-lite twin-stick shooter.
