It's far too early to say if Gran Turismo Sport is the final word when it comes to eSports style racing on consoles. The on-track action is excellent, but the remainder of the package is severely lacking at this point in time.

When compared to other games in the horror genre, The Evil Within 2 seems a few steps behind its contemporaries, both in terms of storytelling and execution. However, what it lacks in genuine scares and creepiness it makes up for in atmosphere and gore, especially during the final chapters.

Outside of a few nagging flaws, namely the frustrating run and gun levels, Cuphead represents the shoot 'em up genre at its absolute best. The boss battles are consistently exciting and just the right amount of challenging, while the 1930s cartoon visuals amaze in every regard.

Steamworld Dig 2 is a fantastic introduction for new players to the Metroidvania genre and offers more than enough to keep seasoned veterans fully engaged. A must-have for anyone with a Switch, this gem could charm even the most jaded gamer with its genuine, lovingly crafted world.
