Trust me, by the end of the episode you'll find yourself reliving some of these moments and wondering if the decisions you made were the right ones.
Super Time Force is an absolutely phenomenal game that's packed to the brim with action, humor, and easily one of the best time-manipulation mechanics I've ever seen in a game. I can't say that I've ever played a game that let me co-op with myself, with myself, with myself and also with myself, until now.
It's not that Kinect Sports Rivals is a terrible game, but it certainly doesn't utilize the Kinect in any new meaningful ways. After Microsoft's claims of improving the Kinect, I just wanted RARE to be a little more experimental with the tech, and sadly, that doesn't happen here.
On the one hand I have to commend DreadOut for trying to be more than the no-depth scare factories that so many other indie horror games aspire to. It's a callback to the third-person horror games of the PS1/PS2-era and I appreciate that. On the other hand, every attempt to inject that much-needed depth is met with frustrating design decisions. I wanted it to be over well before the end of its brief, two-hour playtime.
Whistleblower hits far fewer snags than the original Outlast in its attempt to scare the bejeezus out of you. It's a brisk, enjoyable, genuinely scary experience, and a great supplement to the story of the core game. If you already liked Outlast there is no doubt in my mind that you'll love Whistleblower. And if you only sort-of-liked the original, well, there's good news for you here too.
As it is, being so barebones, it's an impossible game to recommend when I can think of several dozen racing and car combat games I'd rather be playing.
Windforge is a mess. The game's only redeeming quality is buried under so many obvious and unforgivable technical oversights that it's not even worth pursuing. Between game-breaking mechanics and game-ending bugs, there are plenty of reasons to spend your time with one of the many better examples of sandbox crafting.
Bound by Flame by all accounts ends up being a rather mediocre experience. There are various systems and mechanics that work brilliantly, but are sadly overshadowed by a largely forgettable story and a flawed combat system that ends up testing your patience rather than testing your mettle.
If you are a baseball fan and own a PS4, then MLB 14: The Show is definitely worth the purchase.
I put plenty of time into this game. I love Spider-Man, so I wanted to give it every opportunity to win me over, but the entire experience felt more like a hassle than it should be.
There's simply nothing about Daylight that hasn't been done better elsewhere, leaving me with no choice but to recommend you avoid it at all costs.

Child of Light isn't the type of game we're used to from Ubisoft, but it's the type of game this industry needs. It's hard not to look at the game and admire its beauty, but underneath the gorgeous visuals is a thought-provoking story that'll draw you in. All of this rests on top of polished gameplay with enticing mechanics.
If you're up for a good, addictive puzzler, King Oddball is a great value at $6.99, considering it's cross buy with the PS Vita version.
Look, folks: Resident Evil 4 was a fantastic game when it first launch. It's still a fantastic game today, not only by 2005 standards but also 2014 standards.
For those that thought this would be a chance to play a Ninja Gaiden that wasn't too hard, stay a far away as possible. Yaiba isn't worth losing a controller or your sanity over.
Trials Fusion doesn't change up the formula drastically from its predecessors, but adds some nuances that helps it distinguish itself. It might come with a few graphical hiccups that detract from its beauty, but the fun factor eclipses any of these issues.
Episode 3: A Crooked Mile is probably my favorite episode of the three thus far.
The competitive game at the heart of Towerfall Ascension is still the main event, so if you don't have extra controllers and friends you'll probably want to pass. That said, it's nice that there's something fun to do with the game even when you're on your own. It's not enough to recommend the game entirely as a solo experience, but I still had a ton of fun with it and see myself going back for more, even if no one is around.
There are moments of pure bliss, encounters that will require nimble rolls and quick trigger fingers, and plenty of looting and crafting to be done. But I can't help but wonder what could have been.
