Despite some small issues that can be patched up pretty easily, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is a breathtaking game that combines Oscar worthy storytelling with game of the year quality gameplay.

Assassin's Creed: Origins is truly unique compared to its predecessors, though as an Action RPG, it replicates many of the same mechanics you will find in its contemporaries. Regardless, it is a lovingly crafted world worth exploring.

Monolith knew it had something when they took the Nemesis System, made famous in Shadow of Mordor, and expanded it exponentially. The world has never seen so many diverse Uruk-hai.

'Trulon: The Shadow Engine' is a very basic, easy-going turn-based RPG. It asks very little of you, but still manages to be challenging and fun when it needs to be. Despite its console/PC availability, it's more suitable in its original mobile form.

Battle Chasers: Nightwar features a deep and rewarding battle system that is the crux of the entire experience. Save-erasing crashes, a passive narrative, and balancing issues can't help Nightwar compete in a year where RPGs reign supreme.
