Another map pack from Infinity Ward breathes fresh life into Ghosts.
Atmospheric but all too familiar in far too many places, Daylight is a middling time-killer with few frights.
Cel Damage has a great core concept that would be great to see explored further, but that glorious promise just makes it more of a shame that Finish Line Games for whatever reason couldn't take it to that next step. As it is, Cel Damage is a hard sell to those without a strong core group of people to play locally.
Strike Suit Zero has a lot of things going for it – a cool story, good combat, pretty visuals, and an excellent soundtrack – but it's let down by poor mission design and a frustrating checkpoint system. Those looking for a space combat game will find a lot to like here, but one can't help but wonder how much better the game would have been with more of a focus on tightly paced, frantic battles, and less on the Suit's ability to transform.
The mega popular racer is back and it's just as tricky, frustrating and fun as ever.
Tolkien's The Hobbit gets a LEGO makeover. Don't expect innovation but if you've loved the previous games, this is a winner.
4X strategy game players will be well served with Age of Wonders 3, a welcome return for one of the hallmarks of the genre.
With an incredible amount of content, and a number of gameplay refinements, Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition is the best Dynasty Warriors games in years. It won't convince the haters, but it will have fans saying, "Among men, Lu Bu. Among Dynasty Warriors, Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition."
Dust off Kinect, do some stretches and get ready to compete. Kinect Sports Rivals makes you pleased to own the motion controller.
Goat Simulator is rough around the edges and doesn't offer a lot of content, but if you're into destruction, humor, and the sheer ridiculousness of it, it's not a baaaaad deal at all. If you're only going to buy one goat simulator this year, make it this one.
I am sure Blizzard will find ways to improve the new systems even more in future patches, but as it stands now they're small issues that hurt the experience just a small bit. In reality, there is nothing to fear, this is a great addition to the game and we are looking forward to seeing how Blizzard will move on with the universe in Diablo III. As for now, I don't know why you're still reading this, go get the expansion and begin your epic loot hunts in Adventure Modes.
Life really is better with a Titan, and Titanfall demonstrates how much better the multiplayer genre can be with its fresh, compelling gameplay.
Heroes of Warcraft is an amazing game that knows how to make use of a free-to-play business model. While the absence of a tournament mode is a let down it's not enough to destroy its re-playability.
Despite its lack of modes, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is a well-designed shooter that puts a fresh spin on the zombie game and will be fun for all ages.
While it's easy to understand the enjoyability on a mobile platform due to its touchscreen control mechanics, Deus Ex: The Fall contributes a great deal to the non-official category of bad ports.
Second Son is a worthy entry in the inFamous Series. More importantly, Sucker Punch now have an interesting protagonist in Delsin Rowe.
If you're a One Piece fan and you want to relive the story, this game's as good an excuse as any; however, One Piece Romance Dawn is not recommended for just about anyone else.
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is developed purely for the fans. It won't bring in any new audiences but it wasn't meant to in the first place. It features a decent amount of content which will make the wait less taxing for The Phantom Pain.
LUFTRAUSTERS is a great example of using very old ideas and recycling them in very interesting and fun ways
Ultimately, it's just as well that this is the last Layton game- after all, a true gentlemen never outstays his welcome, and Professor Layton very nearly did.
