With the new opportunities available for a cops and robbers setting, Visceral didn't take enough chances and produce enough content to make this game truly great.

Fans of mechs and match three will find a lot to like in Ironcast, but even they will eventually tire of the repeating missions and random nature of the game.

Fails to meet expectations in more ways than one and shows the decline of the franchise.

A decent sequel that pushes Hotline Miami to the limit. However, held back from greatness by a few niggling issues.

By no means a bad game in the end, Codename S.T.E.A.M has good design choices hampered by lots of tedium and frustration.

7.5 / 10.0 - Deathtrap
Feb 27, 2015

Deathtrap is a fun co-op game, but fails to deliver in single player. Some skill and trap options are less than amazing, but overall they do pretty good. Gamepad support has some problems, but mouse and keyboard users shouldn't have any issues. Give it a try if you like playing with other people.
