Farming Simulator runs just fine on the Switch, but doesn't have as many features as other consoles.

Unfortunately, GRIDD's retro influences aren't enough to make me want to keep coming back to play.

Wolfenstein 2's second DLC ... isn't bad, but does nothing to impress.

ARK: Survival Evolved is a mixed-bag experience that only truly caters to those well aware of, or heavily interested in, the survival genre.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 has a compelling story and that's it.

My big problem with Telltale's take on Guardians of the Galaxy is that it just hasn't grabbed me like the other Telltalle series.

Overall, Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers is an impressive port for fighting game and Street Fighter fans. This addition to the Nintendo Switch library is much-needed and proves that the Switch can handle the rigors of a fighting game, especially in portable mode. It's going to be great to get more fighting games in the future on this platform.

For the first chapter in a new series, Guardians of the Galaxy doesn't make you want to keep going. Hopefully the story can pick up in the next chapters to let Guardians stand shoulder to shoulder with the other great Telltale games.

Given how strong the writing has been for the previous three Batman episodes, I’m still incredibly excited to see how this whole season will wrap up. Unfortunately, Guardian of Gotham didn’t really do much to make me more excited.

Mekazoo does an excellent job of carving out its own identity, combining a unique aesthetic with mechanics that combine low level puzzle-solving and basic platforming mechanics. While we’ve certainly seen many of the elements on display in Mekazoo , I can’t think of any that managed to repurpose basic aspects of the platforming experience in such a unique manner.

Farming Simulator 17 is far from the worst way to pass a few hours, and it’s oddly fulfilling to finish harvesting one of your fields and drop off your crops for a big pay day. If you’ve ever been curious to see what virtual farming all about, Farming Simulator 17 is the best place to start.

While the sequel is a definite improvement over the original, the improvements are coming in baby steps, not leaps and bounds. A great first step would be to make a game that has a proper tone, because Watch Dogs 2 feels like it doesn’t know what it is.

While mostly fun and enjoyable, Lumo’s loose controls make some puzzles incredibly difficult, and not in a good or fair way.

Epistory takes some interesting chances and sets out to make a decidedly different game than anything we’ve experienced over the last few decades. Those who’ve been yearning for a new typing game may find enough to justify a $12.99 purchase, but Epistory is unlikely to convert any new fans of the genre.

It’s an incredibly apt description of No Man’s Sky, and by this standard the game is a tremendous success. There are have been many, many moments where the sensation of alien wonder and sci-fi awe has overwhelmed me playing No Man’s Sky. But while I own and cherish anthologies of sci-fi covers (The Art of Michael Whelan is sprawled open somewhere nearby), reading the actual book is always preferable. No Man’s Sky is all cover.
