Pumpkin Jack is a fun 3D Platformer that is enjoyable for seasoned platformers but easy enough for new players to get into. The game provides the player with a fun experience that does not get stale throughout the levels. The use of mini-games, comedy, and pop culture references keeps the game entertaining; it is definitely a unique experience just in time for Halloween. Pumpkin Jack does feel a bit short compared to other platformers. At the end of the game, Jack has completed his quest but with how the story has progressed, the story feels incomplete. Hopefully, this is not the last time we see Pumpkin Jack.
Overall, I feel as if Ubisoft has dug back into what made Watch Dogs enjoyable to play. With some improvements to the overall gameplay and tweaks as time goes by, I can see others enjoying the game.
While there were some technical issues, nothing was game-breaking. I would put Spinch up there with Super Meat Boy on well-made precision platformers.
Manifold Garden proves that a game doesn’t need a narrative to be enjoyable!
Peaky Blinders: Mastermind sets a benchmark for unconventional gameplay done right.
Double Kick Heroes really aims for a very specific niche of the rhythm game market. For players who love heavy metal and retro difficulty settings, this is a great opportunity to rock out to some new tracks and a fun story, then maybe create some zombie-slaying mayhem of their own to their favorite Ozzy or Motörhead track.
Kudos to the team at Cold Symmetry. I hope more people pick up this game so that we can get a sequel somewhere down the road.
In its current state, Panzer Paladin is more of a chore to play than it is a joy, and as someone who enjoys challenging games, that’s really a shame.
For a developer that has created over 50 games, the game feels like it was put together quickly to meet fan demands.
If you’re a fan of the show, a fan of hack-and-slash games, and a fan of games with robust combat, Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time is the game for you.
Where Flight Simulator shines, is in its ability to be both an inexpensive training tool for actual pilots, an accessible introduction to aviation for new people, and also a place where the hardcore can live out their airline pilot dreams.
Hidden Layer Games found the perfect way to present this meaningful look into an emotional and atmospheric narrative-driven puzzle platformer.
If you have never heard of Aeolis Tournament then you are missing out; the game is a hidden gem.
Overall, the Destroy All Humans remake has exceeded all of my expectations.
I enjoyed my time with this adventure farming simulator and it comes at a perfect time when people are on the lookout for more games of that type with peak Animal Crossing popularity happening right now.
#Funtime is a fun time! Its twin-stick shooting mechanics, coupled with explosive colors and effects, along with an inviting soundtrack that drops beats left and right make #Funtime well worth one’s time.
Roundguard helped relieve my feelings of anxiety during this global pandemic and satiated my desire to play D&D. This game could be even more fun with a co-op element or game mode. Complete bouncing mayhem!
Stranded Deep has borderline wretched controls and has some crafting and survival mechanics that make the boy scout and backpacker in me furrow my brow in confusion. That being said, the game is fun and exceptionally rewarding!
Disintegration is only the second RTS title to keep my attention for a long period of time. If you are still in doubt, watch streams or multiplayer videos but I can say that Disintegration is worth the $49.99 USD price tag.
The Trials of Mana remake is an excellent remake. A full 3D adaptation of a 2D Super Nintendo game has its challenges, which Square Enix faced in their first two efforts in this franchise let alone their other titles.
