87 / 100 - Flipping Death
Aug 7, 2018

Zoink is on a fliptastic roll, Fe was great and now Flipping Death is another huge success. The art designers and visual talent from the Swedish developer is remarkable!

87% - Trifox
Oct 13, 2022

Trifox is far better than I ever expected, Glowfish Interactive’s first original title is one that hopefully will be discovered by many gamers. Trifox has every essential part of a fun platforming game with unique mechanics. Making your own combat playstyle and finding every secret in the levels is the perfect mix between Ratchet & Clank and Crash Bandicoot. I honestly can’t wait and hope for Trifox 2.

The story, dialogue, and the creative journal gameplay are reasons to give Lost Words a straight 100%. Unfortunately not every other aspect is of the same quality, the gameplay sections in Estoria are basic and the simplicity in both worlds reduces my overall opinion of the game. Without a doubt though, this is a game I can highly recommend!

I loved nearly every second of Shadow Man; its levels were fun to explore and the visuals looked quite stunning for a remaster! Despite the easy combat, backtracking and acceptable voice acting, Shadow Man was still a blast to go through! If you like old-school games that make you explore levels and find collectibles, this’ll for sure be something you’d really like!

It is truly exceptional that a small team has been able to develop a game like Raji, Nodding Head Games can be very proud of what they accomplished. Learning more about the Indian culture while playing a gorgeous game is rare and time well spent.

Stitchy in Tooki Trouble by Polygoat is definitely a nice platformer. I loved being able to play a few levels at a time, without feeling pressed to play a whole world at once. Overall a very enjoyable experience. I’m only sorry that there were not more worlds to discover!

This year the winner for best football game is easily won by EA’s Fifa 22. HyperMotion is a true positive difference that makes the game so much more fluid and realistic.

Thymesia is a LifeisXbox recommended game because OverBorder Studios understands how to make a great Souls-like experience. Thymesia is an indie game with a low budget that can proudly stand together with other recent games in the genre.

Iris has the ability to overcome her inner demons when she accepts help from others. I think that’s an important real-life lesson, get help when things become too hard for you.

Despite a few flaws Mass Effect: Andromeda is still a wonderful science fiction story with some memorable moments. It is without a doubt one of the best single player experiences on Xbox One. That said, it would be a mistake to overlook the online mode because the frantic shootings with friends is a great thing to do!

8.4 / 10.0 - Bulb Boy
Oct 8, 2017

A small game, but worth your time. An audiovisual package that many games aim for but never reach, Bulb Boy is a fine example for great creative talent. It is a shame that the game hurts itself a little by being a little light on content.

84 / 100 - FIFA 17
Sep 22, 2016

Fifa 17 surprised me with the excellent The Journey game mode. It feels and looks better than ever with Frostbite but the actual gameplay took a minor yellow card. That said, I know ill still be playing this game for many, many hours and you should too.

Saying that Virginia is unique is an understatement, there is nothing like it on any Xbox-console. The storytelling and music are sublime making the game an easy game to recommend.

Arkane Studios made an excellent game, Prey is a pretty fun game to play in the dark. Taking the best from a couple famous games and adding something unique into the mix. In short, buying and playing Prey is something you won’t regret!

ifa 18 left me with a little bitter taste, while the game is really enjoyable to play the defending could have been much better. The atmosphere, visuals and sound are outstanding and the online play is unmatched and really fun.
