I declare myself a fan of Serious Sam. I always have been, and not secretly. Croteam has always had in its hands a product that is based on the purest fun that an FPS can offer, shoot your enemies and enjoy it in the best way. And again, they're still exceptional for it. This fourth installment is a dream come true for many, but it could have been much better, because the technical problems with which this console version has arrived, undoubtedly affect the experience. We know that the differences are obvious, but in this stretch of the end of the year where an incredible shooter like Battlefield 2042 is "the worst" of those that have come out in relation to its technical problems, Croteam is not exactly in a good position.

The Gunk is a proposal that goes straight to the point. It is not perfect, far from it, but it knows how to propose something different and with a tempo totally opposite to what we are used to. It is a title that from the first moment enters through the eyes and that catches you with its gameplay that although it is not too complicated, it is effective and, above all, fun.

Seeing Sam & Max on screen is always a pleasure and I will never tire of saying it. Skunkape also has the merit of taking great care of the IP, something that can be seen from afar with the affection they put into each new compilation they produce. Now we can only hope, quite anxious, of course, that the developers are also encouraged to work on the other installment produced in the past by Telltale; Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse. Will it be a reality in the future? Can we dream of a completely new delivery? Only time has the answer, but in the meantime Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space is a great way to wait.

Responsibility is a concept integrated into people's consciousness that gives the opportunity to reflect, guide and assess the consequences of actions. Taking responsibility is a challenge, as it is much easier to point the finger at others than to take the time to analyze our decisions. And Lacuna – A Sci-Fi Noir Adventure gives us the key to recognizing the causes of what is happening to us in a universe sheltered in crime and mystery. It allows us to see the reality of the facts to act accordingly, facing our part in the conflict.

Nowadays I feel like in the time when they made me compete against my swimming partners: I always ended up exhausted, but I enjoyed it... although without a doubt that the latter could not erase my obvious and heartfelt face of tiredness. This will not be an excellent title, it is simply broken in fundamental points that although they are repairable, make the launch experience transform from time to time into a strong migraine.

If you have to play just one metroidvania this 2021, then it definitely has to be Aeterna Noctis, an indie title that can fight hand in hand with any production that is not a debutant. Creative ideas on an already established and proven basis, proof that effort and perseverance in this genre, as in other fields of life, is profitable.

Beyond a Steel Sky is the perfect sequel to its predecessor, a journey that catches you from beginning to end thanks to an interesting story that manages to connect with us because of its similarity to real life. A story that processes us through a filmic and polished artistic design, putting the icing on the cake its wonderful soundtrack. However, like everything in this life it has its great shadows, mainly technical errors that can be solved in future patches, although others such as its artificial intelligence are much more complicated.

Rubber Bandits is a title that despite its obvious sources of inspiration, manages to sustain itself without problems, as long as we ignore the problems that lurk online games. The variety of scenarios, the simplicity of its gameplay and the three game modes currently available, is all that this title needed to make me spend a very entertaining few hours, something that surely could have been totally memorable, if they had been enjoyed with friends and without connection problems.

We all interpret different voices, but in the end, we must find the one that is our own, the one that allows us to express ourselves as we are. Correctly conveying its message, One Hand Clapping is a work that plays a vital role in establishing the trust and sincerity of what we say. It doesn't matter if our voice is not so poetic, powerful or sophisticated. It is ours and it is about communicating from it, taking the reins of our personality, expressing it without any kind of cover.

Surviving the Aftermath is a building and management game with some RPG elements that work with more or less success, but that together create a really fun game,and above all, addictive; And as I said before, you know when you start playing but not when you finish. There are certain elements such as graphics and combat that could be much better, but that are compensated by a very addictive gameplay,a huge variety of constructions available and an extensive tree of technologies to investigate.

I have always liked this type of game a lot, and I must admit that Airborne Kingdom has pleasantly surprised me by including some novel factors such as buoyancy, inclination or propulsion, elements that give a twist to a classic genre that we have been enjoying for years. Despite having an excessively minimalist technical section as I mentioned before, in general it is a very complete and entertaining game that I am convinced will please all fans of the genre.

Halo Infinite is a much needed reinvention of the franchise. Its campaign mode makes it the most ambitious, fun and complete Halo of them all. This edition is a love letter to fans and a true gift for the newcomers. Undoubtedly, one of the best games of the generation, and a true gem not to be missed.

Running an agricultural kingdom is no easy task, but Rune Factory 4 Special knows how it claims the importance of agriculture as a fundamental asset for the life of the planet. It teaches us, through training and informative missions, that having a powerful and solid food producing sector, capable of resisting moments with changes and guaranteeing an adequate supply is fundamental. In this sense, Neverland's work uses with ease the role of farmer at the same time that it sows a seed loaded with fantasy adventures, thus cultivating relationships with the inhabitants and the hobby of role-playing.

We are facing a great work of Frogwares with Sherlock Holmes in his perhaps less explored variant: that of his youth. Maybe the character at times you do not like it, or you find it unfriendly, but I think there you can also see the hand of the writers who portray a stage of more insolence in the human being and from which the great detective is not exempt either.

"Have I ever told you what the definition of insanity is?" The name of the analysis says it all, we are facing a DLC of madness. An island full of delusions with more or less interesting challenges and with a challenging difficulty. But it's not all the smell of roses, a first attempt at roguelike that didn't go as expected, a poorly balanced gunplay, but with a promising foundation for future Far Cry 6 expansions.
