9 / 10.0 - Into The Breach
Mar 14, 2018

A fun but challenging strategy game that blends a fun time-travel aesthetic with great turn-based mechanics. Interesting time pressure gameplay makes every battle rewarding. Heartily recommended.

6.5 / 10.0 - Tiny Metal
Mar 13, 2018

Right now, Tiny Metal feels slightly undercooked. It has the strong foundations of a game that could be great, but is let down at almost every turn.

Fear Effect Sedna is a game that does just enough to be considered basic. Unfortunately, for fans of the Fear Effect series, this is not a triumphant return for the franchise but more so a reminder that it exists.

4 / 10.0 - Molten Armor
Mar 11, 2018

Repetitive gameplay, poor graphics and not a lot of fun. Not worth recommending I'm afraid.

8.5 / 10.0 - Purrfect Date
Mar 8, 2018

The purrfect game for cat lovers with adorable art and several different endings. If you've ever wanted to date cats, here you go! Game does only have one graphics setting, though, and on a PC that met minimum system requirements it did struggle.

If you're looking for a game to get your creative juices flowing, then definitely check this out. If you're looking purely for single or co-op gaming, then probably wait for a sale.

A fitting final DLC pack for Battlefield 1, with three great new maps and more unlockables to keep you busy. Air Assault may not be my cup of tea, but for those who are more adept than me in the air, it will provide a nice quick alternative to battling on land.

7 / 10.0 - EA Sports UFC 3
Mar 4, 2018

UFC 3's career mode is where you will spend the majority of your time first, however after beating this you have a choice you can either spend all of your money on ultimate team or you can play online or single-player. The ultimate team mode is so microtransactions heavy that it left a bad taste in my mouth.

7.5 / 10.0 - Gravel
Mar 4, 2018

Gravel is a great racing experience for veterans and newcomers alike, with so many tracks and cars to unlock this game will keep you busy for a while. However being unable to find an online match has me worried that the replay value of this game isn't very good after you've played through the meat of the single-player game.

Soldiers of the Universe is a functionally bad game. Unfortunately, there just isn't enough that players will enjoy in regards to this story driven FPS.

It's a very solid remaster of a classic game, and those looking for a nostalgia trip to 20 years ago should look no further. Some of the quirks are still present, even the original cheats, ultimately making this the true Definitive Edition.

7 / 10.0 - Chaos on Deponia
Mar 1, 2018

Chaos On Deponia is a fun game, albeit with its flaws. The story is fun and is a nice adventure for families to enjoy together. The writing here is okay and the puzzles are fun but way too easy, they lack the depth that other games from this genre have. Overall you may enjoy this story if you have children and they are looking for their first video game experience, otherwise I would avoid picking this game up if you are expecting a great adventure like the Double Fine games.

Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is an extremely solid and polished remaster of the most unusual mainline entry. If you've never played FFXII this is the best way to give it a go and if you are a veteran, having the changes from the previously Japan only IZJS version give you another reason to revisit Ivalice.

6 / 10.0 - Ghostory
Feb 27, 2018

Ghostory offers some really challenging and thought-provoking puzzles based around a unique and genuinely enjoyable core mechanic. Beyond the gameplay there isn't much else on offer here and the infrequent save points can create real frustration.

For people who suffer with high blood pressure, Super One More Jump is not the game for you. This beautiful, 2D, twitch, platformer will provide a severe test of your timing skills along with your patience. For those who are up for the challenge, Super One More Jump offers an addictive and entertaining ride.

7 / 10.0 - Overgrowth
Feb 24, 2018

A visceral, brutal fighting game with no subtlety and no ambition for it. Long loading times and a poor camera don't detract massively from the animalistic fun Overgrowth provides.

7.5 / 10.0 - Nine Parchments
Feb 24, 2018

A game lovingly made by a studio with big ambition that, for the most part, succeeds. Single player and a lack of story are its downfall, but, none of that matters when you are adventuring with your friends and writing your own story!

They say that love can build a bridge, but love isn't GlaDOS' style, so you'll have to make do with girders and cables instead. Frustratingly difficult in parts, but a game that you'll keep coming back to until you master it.

Offers up a decent, if predictable, story with interesting characters, beautiful scenery, and ambitious concepts but falls short with numerous glitches, annoying mini-games, and a lack of player immersion.

3.5 / 10.0 - Dynasty Warriors 9
Feb 23, 2018

Everything about this game seems completely rushed. To jump onto the open world bandwagon three or four years too late and still deliver such a pile of garbage isn't just embarrassing, it's insulting.
