TorqueL -Physics Modified Edition- is an interesting puzzle game with a minimalist art style and a good challenge. The core gameplay mechanics are interesting and feel different from other puzzle games, and it's a release that the speedrunning community will have a lot of fun with.

The graphics look great on the TV, and it looks great as well in portable mode. As is the case with most shoot ‘em ups, Danmaku Unlimited 3 is devoid of a story, placing its focus entirely on its gameplay. This is not a deal-breaker since the gameplay is top-notch for this bullet hell release on Nintendo Switch. If you're a fan of the genre, then you should definitely check out this game on Nintendo's latest console.

85% - Mulaka

Mulaka is a very polished indie release with an interesting art style and setting and a lot of love for the source material: the Tarahumara people. You can tell that everyone at Lienzo cared about making sure that the lore and culture of this tribe were presented in a respectful way, and we now have a fun and highly educational game on Nintendo Switch that you should definitely check out.

I had a lot of fun with The Adventures of Bertram Fiddle: Episode 1: A Dreadly Business. The game is short and to the point, a very unique, colorful and charming art style, funny writing, and puzzles that won't leave you scratching your head since every single one of them is logically sound. I had a chat with Seb Burnett from Rumpus Animation about the second (and so far final) episode making its way to Nintendo Switch, and he basically said it depends on how this first one does on the console, so be sure to go and download it today so that we can soon get the full experience!

BINGO for Nintendo Switch is a fun party game that is great in short bursts of gaming, but that might feel a bit too repetitive during longer sessions. If you're a fan of BINGO then this game is perfect for you since you could just play the Classic BINGO mode and get your money's worth, but if you're looking for something a bit deeper, then this game is not going to do it for you.

The Adventure Pals is a lot of fun, with its great humor, colorful graphics and considerable amount of collectibles to find. You will take on several quests to level up and unlock new perks, which makes this a must-have indie release on PlayStation 4. Massive Monsters and Armor Games have done a great job with his one, and I look forward to seeing what their next game will bring to the table!

Enter the Gungeon is a solid action-packed release on Nintendo Switch that you should definitely add to your collection. Every run that you do will feel a bit different, and the more you play the more enemies you'll run into, learning about their movement and attack patterns so that you can make the most of subsequent runs – same goes for the weapons and items you can find or purchase.

If you're looking for a fun and challenging tower defense/RPG on PlayStation 4, then Defenders Quest: Valley of the Forgotten DX will scratch that itch. If you ever played Final Fantasy Crystal Defenders, then you'll feel right at home when you take this one for a spin on PS4. There's a lot of content to play, plenty of customization options and a ton of potential combinations for your team of defenders and the skill and abilities they can use. With each character having its own skill tree, if you want to 100% the game, you'll need to spend some extra time leveling them up, but this will also help you work towards adding a new Platinum trophy to your collection.

Aside from some of the flaws I've mentioned, Titan Quest is a decent dungeon crawler and a fun port of a classic ARPG. So if you're looking for a game to scratch that action RPG itch on PlayStation 4, Titan Quest is ready for you on physical media as well as digitally.

Hakuoki: Edo Blossoms is a solid sequel that carries on with the story of Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds, so if you have played the prequel then you're going to have a great time with this one. You do need to like visual novels, particularly those of the Otome genre, to have a good time with this PS Vita release. The narrative, colorful and detailed locations and the varied cast of characters will keep you engaged until the end. All voice acting in the game is only available in Japanese, and while I would have liked to interact with other characters with voice acting in English, this is not a deal-breaker and does not get in the way of enjoying this adventure.

Nightmares of the Deep 3: Davy Jones is a great sequel and a solid point and click adventure game on PlayStation 4. The game's graphics have come a long way when compared to the first game in the series, with better-animated cut-scenes, more polished locations with a lot of attention to detail, and several puzzle types to keep you entertained until the end.
