My time with the game for my Lifeless Planet: Premiere Edition was very entertaining. I kept playing the game in short bursts of 20-30 minutes at a time, searching around each new location to try and find some mineral samples that could bring me closer to unlocking a new trophy or two. The platforming mechanics were also fun during most of the time… except for the one time I jumped up a hill and ended up going through the ground, plummeting to my death as the game glitched. Certainly not a deal-breaker, but something I did want to mention.

The 16-Bit pixel art graphics of Quest of Dungeons are really nice and makes the game shine on the Wii U. You have choice of playing the game on the big screen or use Off-TV play. I found that it looks better on the big screen as it had a slightly darker hue on the Wii U Gamepad, but this was not a huge issue. It was very fun to do this Quest of Dungeons review, and I can't wait to see what the dev does for its next game!

94% - Shu
Oct 19, 2016

I had an excellent time with the game for my Shu review. While the main game might be short, I loved every minute of it. The speedrunning side of the equation will greatly increase the replay value for the game as you try and complete each level as fast as possible, so do keep that in mind. If you’re looking for an excellent platformer, then Shu is the game you need to add to your collection today!

The game is a mysterious one, and despite the cute graphics, it will surely make you jump here and there. The creatures in the game are weird and creepy while also being wonderful and unique. This is a highly addictive release, and its in-game sounds and music is first class- The game may not have combat, but it is definitely well worth your time and money.

Blue Rider is a short and intense twin-stick shooter with bright and colorful graphics that will keep you busy as you try to improve your skills. I surely became a better player after I was done with my Blue Rider review, and so can you!

I liked the cute and vibrant graphics and I think the game could be expanded even further by maybe include additional modes in a sequel. There is, however, one extra mode which is Endless mode where you can cut grass to your heart’s content and aim for the highest score possible

If you haven’t realized it by now, I loved my time with the game for my Assault Suit Leynos review. There’s a lot of objectives to complete in each level, especially if you’re aiming for the Platinum trophy, and this will keep you coming back for more. I suggest that you first play the game in its HD mode to then do a second run in Classic mode so that you can truly appreciate all that was done to give us this great version on PlayStation 4.

Did I like The Bunker? Certainly. It’s a 21st Century game that pays homage to how things were done many, many years ago for FMV games while also doing its own thing and showing what new tech and a bigger budget can do. Sure, some might complain that the game is only a couple of hours long at most, but it is an interesting and fun game. It’s basically a feature-length interactive movie, and considering the current price of a movie ticket, the asking price of $19.99 for The Bunker is not a problem. I enjoyed my time with the game as I wrote this The Bunker review, making this one an easy game for me to recommend to you to buy.

I had fun playing the game for my Zenith review. It’s a very humorous button mashing game where you can just relax and have some mindless fun without worrying too much about things. I can definitely see where they could have improved the game, so hopefully a patch is coming for all of you!

Slain: Back from Hell is a very solid, yet run of the mill action platformer. Its strong audio and incredible visuals are the initial pull to play this game, but the uneven enemy difficulty and simplistic combat system hurt the experience. I liked playing the game for my Slain: Back from Hell review, but I’m sad to say that I didn’t love it – however, I’m very interested to see what Wolf Brew Games release

Collateral Thinking is a cute and challenging platformer with simple mechanics. It is ideal for short bursts of play as 100 floors at 30 seconds each is not very long. This only costs $3, so there’s enough bang for your buck in this one. I enjoyed my time with the game for my Collateral Thinking review and I definitely think this one is worth a look!

I liked The Final Station’s pixelated graphics and its gameplay mechanics. The story is drip-fed here and there during your travels, and it’s a bleak one. Did I have fun writing my The Final Station review? Certainly! That’s why I can definitely recommend that you give this one a go on your PlayStation 4 if you’re looking for a new survival game.

I loved my time with Headlander. It’s 70s sci-fi inspired aesthetic, tight Metroidvania gameplay and crazy “dock your head on other bodies” mechanics have been keeping me happy for a while. As I did my Headlander review I kept thinking about how varied Double Fine’s output is. The studio has given us adventure games, action games, Russian nestling dolls games, and games that are the most metal ever. I can’t wait to see what the studio does next, and I highly recommend that you give this one a go today.

The game is fast and furious and full of traps, so a lot of practice and trial and error is required. It looks great and features very fun music. The game is brutal, but in a good way, and it will keep you busy for hours as you try to complete every level and aim at getting all trophies. I had a blast playing this one for my 10 Second Ninja X review, and I’ll keep on practicing to get even better!

It was fun playing this one for my Inversus review, and I’m definitely going back to it to unlock every single trophy! It’s great for a few rounds or for extended gaming sessions, so I highly recommend that you buy it today for your PS4 collection. The online side of things might not be completely there, but get a bunch of friends together (either at home or by online) and you will have a blast with Inversus.

And that is Criminal Girls 2: Party Favors. It is certainly better than the first one. The graphics are absolutely superb, and some players will get a kick out of all the imagery. The story is quite interesting, and the dungeon crawling elements are fun. Did I have fun playing the game for my Criminal Girls 2: Party Favors review? Certainly. Where there some elements that I didn’t like due to the game’s nature? Definitely. But that doesn’t mean I can appreciate what the game does right. If you liked the first game in the series, then you’re going to slowly crawl towards it and like it.

Did I have fun playing this game? Certainly! Writing my review for Metrico+ was a nice change of pace from the other games I've been reviewing lately. It's minimalist look, and excellent soundtrack kept me focused on the puzzles at hand at all times, and made it easier to go back to previous areas to grab some of the trophies and collectibles I was missing. You can't go wrong with Metrico+, and I hope you add this stellar game to your PlayStation 4 collection today!
