Mortal Kombat 11 is a very beautiful and enjoyable fighting game, and has a lot to give. Fans of the franchise and newcomers will a find something very technical and deep, with a lovable campaign plenty of game modes and even some quite intersting tutorials. A serious contender in its genre for 2019.

The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa is quite weak in its pure playful proposal but has a real personality that could well embark you, if you are sensitive to this typical Japanese atmosphere carried by hip hop melodies and retro graphics successful in this small city, free to live the existence often in slow motion of a rascal high school and his friends. In this, again, the fact of being able to play in a nomadic way with the Switch is a plus.

Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Scarlet is an upgraded version of Fortune that adds two new "fighters" to the roster. And that's all. The game always needs a lot of grinding to get everything, and is still pretty boring.

Landing for the first time on a Nintendo hardware, these two episodes, especially the first one, are instant classics of the JRPG genre. This Switch version of the HD Remaster is quite clean, technically speaking, with high resolution textures and low loading time. Alas, the cartridge only includes Final Fantasy X (X-2 being available by downloading it), but it's not a reason to pass by these fantastic games.

It's a really unique experience. A large part of the game is focused on exploration and it is a true ode to orientalism. A gaming pleasure combined with the visual and sound beauty. Probably the best Anno episode in the history of the series.

Katana ZERO is magnificent action game with a fantastic atmosphere. Its story and characters are as sharp as its gameplay, that offers some true puzzling moments wondering how to kill efficiently, by using a very useful slow-motion mechanic. Unfortunately, at the time we're done with it, as it is a very compelling experience, we're still hungry. Let's hope for a sequel. Quick.

Weedcraft Inc is a convincing management game about the cannabis business. We get into the game through all aspects of this business that are treated here with both lightness and relevance. We regret just an ergonomics that lack of nervousness in the long term, a slow progression and dialogues that lack intensity. That said, everything rolls for this original title, amateur of the genre or not.

Earth Defense Force : Iron Rain is another vision of the franchise made by an other studio. The new approach is quite good, more serious and more accessible.

Dangerous Driving is like mini bikes experienced by the oldest of us. It's not super pretty, it's very simple and we still have nice moments with it. By cons, you don't want that friends see you with it. We can forgive his wanderings when we know that it is developed "in a garage" with very limited funds. But in this case, he must not claim such prestigious legacies as Burnout, for which we are still waiting for a successor to the excellent "Paradise" episode.

Eden Tomorrow could have been a VR hit thanks to a beautiful design and a scenario quite worthy, but unfortunately its extremely repetitive gameplay affect negatively the whole adventure and cause some weariness that might make you drop the game.

9 years after its initial release, Darksiders is a still a good pick on Nintendo Switch, that can entertain you with its good ideas and very pleasant artistic direction.

20 years after its first release, the Ace Attorney series reminds us how strong and unpredictable Shu Takumi's writing feels. With those linked three episodes, there is no reason not to enter the courtroom once again, even though Capcom could frankly have worked on some tiny options and bonuses to please the fans of old Nick.

Hob reveals to be a satisfying experience. The level design is diverse and conveys a real appetite for exploration and puzzles. Alas, the fight mechanics aren't so engaging and the handheld mode is filled with technical issues.

Super Dragon Ball Heroes : World Mission is a truly Japanese Arcade gameplay experience that works pretty well on the Switch. Quite different from what Western Dragon Ball fans are used to playing and full of content and fan service, Bandai Namco Entertainment's game is one fans of Goku and friends should give a chance to.

Despite its title, Danganronpa Trilogy is nothing but a shiny new PlayStation 4 disc case including both Danganronpa 1 & 2 Reload and Danganronpa V3 : Killing Harmony. So there is nothing more to expect from it than three very good twisted visual novels reunited at last. SO much for the bonuses though.

Death end Re;Quest is good mix beetween an original J-RPG and a visual novel, with two different heroes.

The blurriness displayed on the unexploited touchscreen in handheld mode shows that this Switch version is only a straightforward port. But such slight technical issues don't hinder the interest of this point and click adventure focused on the narrative through puzzles cleverly integrated, hence Silence definitely shouldn't stay quiet.

Tropico 6 is an interesting but unambitious sequel. The game is pleasant but lacks of new features. It is still a funny experience with an atmosphere that makes you want to go on holiday and enjoy a cocktail in the sun.

A little more attractive to newcomers, MLB The Show 19 is an immersive simulation that shines with a dazzling atmosphere, a great gameplay ans some good content. But if you have been playing the former iteration ,you'll probably think it's more of the same.

Final Fantasy VII on Switch could easily have been one of the console's must have : its undeniable charm still works more than 20 years after its original release, but this stingy port still contains the horrible French localization from 1997, as well as the old PS4 bug which constantly reset the beautiful sounds of Nobuo Uematsu.
