Behind Tohu's beautifully detailed, crisp yet intriguing universe stand some imaginative handcrafted puzzles that integrate brilliantly both into the environments and the rather straightforward, if not square story.

The Medium is a very good horror narrative game, despites somes riddles that may be too simple, and the dual reality mechanics may not be as original as expected...

Some puzzles prove trickier to solve than desired, if not intented, but Six Dots unveil a humble purpose through a dual approach in black and white - what is told, shown or not, while cleverly mixing the narrative with items combinations.

Super Meat Boy Forever is far from achieving the same result as 2010's classic. With a ton of hardcore but mostly random levels, the game especially suffer from questionnable one-button-does-it-all handling, and a lack of finished features. Too bad, because the Dark Worlds and manu secrets still offers to hardcore players a true challenge.

The First Samurai is a good extension for a very good game, and concludes the aventure in a good way.

After being successful on Kickstarter four years ago and later on its Early Access, the first title of Sadsquare Studio really reaches our expectations. Filled with great gameplay ideas, the game always tries to find new ways to send shivers down the spine of the player. We're not so sure about the handling of the inventory but despite that, Visage prooves that it only takes some interesting concepts and a genuine passion for the genre to make great horror games.

Orwell's Animal Farm is a pleasant mix of Visual Novel and management experience, with some lovely visuals, music and a very good narrator. The fact that it allows you to retell the story is interesting. But as it still offers a good way to know what the book has to say, it can feel redundant, and a bit foggy in its intentions and mechanics.

Myst returns in 2020 as a remake entirely designed with virtual reality in mind. It is still impossible not to see here an opportunistic act on the part of Cyan Worlds, probably in need of finances, as the game seems to have been made by an bis team, while the bulk of the studio is working on its other projects, in particular Firmament. Myst 2020 on Oculus Quest is not a bad game but even if it means converting it into virtual reality, we would have liked more meticulous work, especially on the soundtrack which seems simply copied and pasted from the original work.

DOOM Eternal is blurry but the frame rate is great on portable mode, which makes this FPS very enjoyable. On TV it's more complicated. A great occasion to discover the game on Switch if it's not already done.

Making its first foray in the world of video games, the french studio Douze Dixi'mes gave birth to a great platformer, full of inventive puzzles and sweet narrative ideas. The art direction is flawless, especially the soundtrack - one of the most thrilling of the past months. In the end, this short but well-conducted journey surely will resonate in every gamer's heart.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a new masterpiece from CD Projekt RED, a huge, dense, vibrant, colorfoul and dark Sci-Fi RPG that any fan of the genre should step in. First because it will provide the sensation that the story really depends on you choices and that you have everything you need for your playstyle. Then because streets, stores, buildings, inhabitants of Night City won't get out of your head easily. You'll be happy to interact with Keanu Reeves, but the real star is this city and all it provides in terms of atmosphere, game mechanics and stories. [OpenCritic note: Gianni Molinaro separately reviewed the next-gen (10) and current-gen (4) versions. The scores have been averaged.]

If you own a next-gen console and are willing to play FIFA 21, you don't need to hesitate as it is a beautifutl and vibrant version of the game... But really similar to the one available on PS4 and Xbox One, not very well balanced on the pitch.

Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 takes the great concept seen in the first game and makes it even better with the addition of the "Skill Battle" mode which adds a touch of RPG to the gameplay. Gamers who can do without this new mode can keep playing the first Puyo Puyo Tetris. People who enjoy Puzzle Games and didn't play the first game shouldn't sleep on Puyo Puyo Tetris 2.

Despite of it's very successful atmosphere and its interesting management mechanics, the game suffers from many bugs. Moreover, the fight is not dynamic enough and not interesting enough to captivate the player over time.

Despite its charming story and truly endearing characters, Haven does not deliver the adventure it once promised. Between its cryptic mecanics, redundant environments and rough battles, it seems like the game does not want to player ton pursue the adventure or have a pleasant time. Too bad, because Danger's soundtrack and the story of Yu and Kay should have need a better treatment.

This well written english translation of Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light proves true to the original script while cutting short through the narration in comparison with the DS remake, just like the gameplay charges straight to the point. A real testament to Fire Emblem's traditional values, though some archaic principles bound this version to an historical interest, even with additional modern options that only alleviate the aging elements.

Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm and Exercise is more or less the same game as the first Fitness Boxing. But it adds a lot of customization options that were absent from the first game. It's just too bad that the game doesn't add new gameplay modes or more songs to exercise on. That being said, people looking for a fitness game could do a lot worse than giving Fitness Boxing 2 : Rhythm & Exercise a shot.

Relying on great narrative ideas, Twin Mirror turns out to be less compelling on the gameplay side, especially during the investigation sequences. The main plot is not very captivating as the real focus of the game is put on the moral dilemmas of Sam, with the Double and the Mind Palace, manifestations of its mental wanderings.
