Probably one of the best survival open world so far. A beautiful adventure with a true scenario and a very original game's mechanics. Diving into Subnautica ocean is a true pleasure and the only problem of the game is the lack of explanation in the scenario, which can be annoying because we sometimes go around in circles without finding a solution.

Celeste is an amazing game in every aspect. This hardcore platformer combines a solid gameplay, a strong psychological plot, staged by a brilliant pixel art direction and a fantastic soundtrack. The game is so generous and challenging, but still manages to gives newcomers a chance, even though you might miss the entire point by skipping some parts with the assist mode. You have every reason to play Celeste. Period.

Even if this PS4 version is all about new (and clearley stunning) graphics and doesn't fix some issues with camera and controls, it is a fantastic way to discover or taste once again one of the most extraordinary, emotional and impressive games of all times. Shadow of the Colossus deserves this second life, as it really well executed thanks to Blue Point's work.

Lost Sphear is an all-in nostalgic RPG that never really tries to offer something new. But if the story starts in the most classic of ways, the game will fulfill patient gamers with some more complex stuff, and not-so-easy fights. Unfortunately, you will have to pass through an very generic artistic direction and pointless dialogs.

Iconoclasts is a gorgeous pixel art metroidvania with some great ideas. Action, platform and puzzles are fun. And the narrative and characters are really compelling. A total success.

Like an ambitious rookie, <i><b>AO Tennis</b></i> appeared promising, with alleged photo realistic looks and authenticity backed by a extensive data built AI. But Big Ant Studios' production can't live up to these expectations, at least for now, despite an interesting timing approach. The lacklustre presentation, the shallow (though large) content and the far from optimized gameplay literally smash the whole experience. Self confidence is a quality, boastfulness or even false advertising, not so much...

Railway Empire is a good management game, interesting,deep and complex. But it is clearly not for beginners despite its presence on PS4 and Xbox One. The tutorial is too frail and we often end up going around in circles before finding the solution which make a run extremely time-consuming and artificially long. Despite that, this title has many interesting game mechanics, in particular the economy system which is a perfect representation of modern capitalism and what the history of the American railway might have been.

If not revolutionnay, ChromaGun is a plesant variation of Portal basing its core mechanics on primary colors more than the laws of physcis. Quite fun and challenging as soon as it takes liberties from its primal inspiration, Pixel Maniacs' game unfortunately suffers from a lack of consistency from start to finish. Those able to forgive the most forgivable puzzles will get a decent experience that will give your brain a hard time.

Press X to pay your respect to one of the greatest, if not the best, rhythm game on PS4. The DJ Max series is back with more than 140 tunes to rock your living room. The only thing that can be bothering is the use of analog sticks during a few tracks, but who cares when you are having such a blast 99% of the time? If you like (very) good rhythm game and music, this one is a must-have.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is undoubtedly the best Dragon Ball Z fighting game ever released. As the old clich' goes, it is easy to pick up and play and hard to master even if the all the characters share the same input. And it must also be pointed out that it's the prettiest anime video game ever made. Dragon Ball fans would do themselves a disservice by missing this game.

La Noire : The VR Cases takes back eight cases of the original game and adapts them to a virtual reality handling. The result is surprisingly very realistic : the player is able to interact with many items, and the boring driving phases are now thrilling to play. The examination sequences are also so much better, even if they kept a few minor flaws form the original. Wherever you play the original game or not, The VR Cases is a must-try for the equipped players.

Gorogoa is a very subtile and brilliantly innovative visual experience that will let your wide wide open long after its conclusion, thanks to a clever structure from start to finish. Jason Roberts' first game choose to mute this narrative puzzle tale, only to focus on strong visuals that navigates somewhere between surrealism and melancholy. Gorogoa may be quick to finish, but a second run seems clearly mandatory once you saw the ending. Too bad that all the available versions of the game display such different prices.

Not sure that the fragmentation of The Secrets of the Maw in such short chapters is the idea of the century for this set of DLC that dilutes its purpose as it is average in its environments.

Blossom Tales achieves with flying colors a synthesis of what used to make a 2D Zelda a great game, while adding enough ideas to satisfy the old-school fanatics. Thanks to a charming art direction, Castle Pixel's second game will please most of nostalgic gamers. But such reverence to the original Zelda series will not come along with many surprises, even with such a short length.

Stifled offers an original approach to the survival and stealth genre, with sound used as a way to progress and being chased. The efficient VR experience sadly falls flat as it gets redundant and the mechanics quickly run out of steam.

PUBG is a like an adrenaline shot. It is surely one of the best multiplayer experiences in recent years. With its simple and highly effective principle, it has been the best Battle Royale game and one of the funniest games of 2017. And will probably be in 2018 too.

Tiny Metal tries to pursue the long lost heritage of the Famicom Wars series... maybe too much ? Every good idea the game delivers is always counterbalanced by several bad ones : the dialogs are nice too watch but way too long for the genre, the missions are solids, but the Fog War is fustrating as it is, and the strategy is sometimes hard to fiollow with such a poor IA. Only those who choose to forbid Tiny Metal will enjoy its strong content.

Sadly, Destiny 2 : Curse of Osiris offers a really short and unsatisfying campaign. The story is unengaging and the whole content feels a bit weak, even if the new raid deserves to be tried.
