Yes, Your Grace isn't just your typical kingdom management simulation. The first game of the studio Brave At Night is a very story-driven experience with inspired pixel-art visuals. Alas, it turns pretty bland when it comes to convey the epicness of the battlefield.

Colt Canyon is a fine half-twin-stick shooter/half-rogue-lite experience, varied enough to make us constantly switch between characters, weapons and approaches, trying to rescue a kidnapped partner in a pixel-based West Coast. While being wuite short and sometimes more difficult to read, it still will please fans of both genres

Disintegration is a tactical FPS with good ideas, but a poor excecution.

Have we ever seen such a cutting sequel ? Seven years after the first episode, The Last of Us Part II is a true masterpiece, at every level : not only has Naughty Dog released a bigger, richer, longer and darker adventure, but its surprising story plays wickedly with the fans hopes, and question the very nature of roles, and what humanity should stand for. If only more AAA games could chosse for such strong choices despite the consequences, the media would surely be more interesting. Released at the very end of the PlayStation 4 cycle, The Last of Us Part II feels like the definitive synthesis of this generation.

Desperados III is a success both artistically and in terms of gameplay. The many references to Sergio Leone's films are awesome. You can definitely put a fistful of dollars on it.

Like an orchestral (Platinum) score, The Wonderful 101 requests some deciphering first and many repetitions - as this slightly Remastered rendition show - to be assimilated. Only then, pleasure kicks in, while revealing its grandeur. Such jubilation leads to forgive, if not forget all the rambling through this delirious, overactive and genuinely unique work of Hideki Kamiya, still destined for the rare "happy viewtiful".

After League of Legends, Riot Games has seemingly succeeded to create a competitive tactic FPS game with a real identity. The game lies on solid grounds at the state of its launch, which broke a record on Twitch. The question is to know whether the players will keep playing the game long-term with new content, and how the success will translate in esports.

If Fury Unleashed does not really shine with the charisma of its universe and its artistic direction quite insipid, he offers a good game experience that offers good feelings. A nice release.

Far from being innovative, Project Warlock is a fun shooter combined with some western RPG elements. Not very fortunate during the early years of its project, the young developer Jakub Cislo eventually succeeds to pay hommage to the fast-FPS of the golden era.

Bioshock The Collection on Switch is everything the home console versions brought us four years ago, but with a oh-so practical portable dimension, but also poorer graphics, thanks to a strong aliasing, and a frame-rate which cannot exceed 30 fps. But with three classical FPS games which already made history, the added DLC and many bonus gives us a good reason to dive again, on the go.

Admittedly it is rather a reinvention than a creation, but WayForward focused on the fundamentals of the saga, with the construction of a world in trees as massive as complex.

Atomicrops is an enjoyable Twin-Stick shooter that can provide some good challenge and laughs to people who like Bullet Hell and are ready to let it grow. Don't expect it to be the more polished game on Earth, accept the facts that farming isn't very satisfying and social interactions are quite missing, and you'll probably find a potentially addictive experience.

Liberated seemed like a good idea, but this comic book-inspired action platformer is a game without any idea, which do not even reach to anything at all. With its stiff control, poor collision, repetitive action and oh-so clich' story, the game do not even take advantage of its comic book format.

What is Skelattack ? A charming game with good platformer bits, that doesn't manage to be convincing when it's about action or surprise in the exploration department. Still, it's a pleasant game for the time you play it, but don't expect it to be memorable.

Like previous Clubhouse Games, the title of 51 Worldwide Games says a lot. Its sobriety hides true gems, transposed in virtual form with so much care that they would almost supplant reality. A tremendous homage to the games' roots and diversity, which everybody around the world can enjoy anywhere, anytime, whether solo, with friends or online partners, depending on the moment's aspirations. While this collection ups the ante on action, odds still favor classics, and Nintendo even draws few ambitious experiences gathered in this chest full of treasures, decidedly made to last, and play.

Apart from its frightful visuals and clanky controls, Those Who Remain is a somewhat interesting experience. The protagonist is literally asked to shed the light on its past as he plods through the ominous city of Dormont. Quite short though, the journey of Edward might give some cold sweats to the most fearless players.

This Definitive Edition transfigures Xenoblade Chronicles through a work both meticulous and respectful to the original. Some aesthetic, tone or even conceptual decisions may divide though, particularly along the additional chapter. Whether necessary or not, this extended conclusion proves interesting in many ways, above all for its deep sense. After the narrative dispersal and mechanics piles from the other episodes, this founding opus recalls the purest expression of Tetsuya Takahashi's saga, hence Monolith Software absolute accomplishment.
