WarioWare: Move It! is exactly what you'd expect from this franchise: fast microgames with a lot of charisma, humor and fun. The use of the Joy Con is very creative, but in general, the game doesn't do much to innovate.

Lords of the Fallen is an intriguing soulslike proposition that draws inspiration from well-known franchises in the genre. It offers 2 interesting worlds to explore simultaneously, characters with different styles to choose from, a cooperative mode that enriches the adventure, and a vast catalog of weapons. However, the game still has some technical flaws, and that could be the trigger to abandon it at any time.

This review and its respective rating have nothing to do with the video games found in this collection. Those already have their place in history and some are enshrined among the best video games ever created. From this perspective, Konami didn't deliver garbage, but it also didn't exploit the potential and opportunity there was to deliver a high-quality homage to its once-star franchise. However, the essence of Metal Gear remains intact and its high points are good enough to consider it in your library, maybe not today, but at some point.

Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle seems to be at the level of the first installment, although at times it suggests that it is falling behind. Marvel's Spider-Man 2 excels in delivering a spectacular combat system and seamlessly fluid traversal mechanics. The game truly shines when it lets you swing through Manhattan's cityscape at breakneck speeds, a thrilling highlight of the experience. Yet, where Insomniac Games stumbles is in the narrative and certain design choices. The inclusion of stealth sections and an overreliance on cinematic Quick Time Events detracts from player agency. How can we make something that's already pretty perfect even better? Thankfully, we don't have to look very far, because Separate Ways is the perfect ending to Resident Evil 4 Remake. The cool thing about Separate Ways is that it doesn't waste its time on drawn-out scenes that get old, or on gameplay mechanics that become boring in the long run. Instead, it focuses on giving you a different style and pace of play that's not totally different from Leon S. Kennedy's, so you really feel like you're playing as Ada Wong.

I also don't mean that Assassin's Creed Mirage is a failed attempt. It is a game with quality in several sections and with which players who have been hooked on the series for years will enjoy.
