Dragon Quest Heroes II is an incredible sequel that surpass in every aspect its predecessor. It has great gameplay, a better story, more mechanics that refresh its experience and a cast of memorable and diverse characters specialized in many combat styles that make to not turn so easily en a repetitive and boring experience.

Tumbleseed is a beautiful and original roguelike with simple, fresh and unique gameplay mechanics. Its smart design gave us a deep experience full of variety and one of the most difficult game of this year for sure. Maybe some difficult spikes feel unfair but if you have a lot of practice and tons of patience you could dominate it.

Puyo Puyo Tetris is, without a doubt, one of the best puzzle games of recent years. Combining two classic franchises bringing with them each of its elements offers us hours and hours of endless fun in any of its modes. Voodoo Vince: Remastered is a simple - yet entertaining - reedition from a game that went unnoticed during the era of the first Xbox. If you were one of the few lucky gamers that enjoyed this game back in 2003, then this remaster will bring you some joy and memories with its gameplay that remains the same albeit all these years. Just be aware that it also retain almost all of the flaws that its original counterpart suffered.

With the Guardians of the Galaxy, Telltale offered us a good use of the license with an interesting story that included a couple of nice plot twists. Like all Lego Games we have not a challenging experience on Lego City Undercover, but undoubtedly this is one of the most complete games on the franchise with an original story based on the famous toys. With all the classic humor of Lego Games, a varied city to explore and the new split-screen coop game, Lego City Undercover is still fun four years later than its original release.

Berserk and the Band of the Hawk its one of the simpliest Musou games that Koei Tecmo has made. It is not a bad game by any means but it also doesn't offer anything different or new from what we have saw in any other titles from the genre and one that, sadly, doesn't fully capture the escence of the story that its based on. Simply put, is one game that fans from the original manga or anime will enjoy, but also one that other players will forget really quick.

Persona 5 is simply one of the greatest games and JRPG in recent years. Atlus excelled itself with one incredible title that not only offers an even better and perfected formula from its fantastic predecessor (Persona 4) but also shows how a series can evolve with a few additions and accurate adjustments. With its unique, dark and enjoyable story; cast of memorable characters; a fluid and addictive battle system; and a wide variety of activities to do, is just impossible to find any reason to negate yourself this great experience. Even if you are not a fan of the genre, this is a title you should play at any cost.

Yooka-Laylee is a good classic 3D platformer better on its first hours and levels when you are discovering the wide range of activities and challenges that you have in this retro colectathon. The rest of the time you can suffer with some weak design decisions to prolongue the time you need to complete the game.
