The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for Nintendo Switch is a great occasion to replay the cult role-playing game from Bethesda wherever you are. A successful adaptation for the hybrid console allows you to run a large-scale RPG even on the road, which seemed impossible a year ago. If you are a fan of the series and you have a Switch, then it's definitely worth a try, and new players simply have to get acquainted with one of the brightest projects in the modern history of the genre.

WRC 7 proved to be not a bad rally simulator, which is worth trying if you already played quite enough of DiRT Rally and DiRT 4, but you want more. Of course, if you do not mind the faded soundtrack and simple graphics. If you played WRC 6, there's nothing essentially new in WRC7.

Call of Duty: WWII is a good, but sterile blockbuster, which you will most likely immediately forget after one walkthrough.

Sonic Forces could've been much better if developers paid more attention to the levels structure, physics of the characters and controls. Perhaps in the future Sonic Team will make the necessary updates to the mechanics with patches, but right now the game is raw and unfinished.

Non-charismatic characters, poor plot and simplistic puzzles along with the lack of 3D make Layton's Mystery Journey the weakest game in the main series yet.

Assassin's Creed: Origins is one of the best games in the series that was able to refresh mechanics and offer an amazing world exploration.

Nevertheless, it's still Doom with meaty and fun gameplay. If you prefer a portable gaming or want to be able to play Doom on the road, you can safely buy this version of the game. In other cases it's better to buy it on PC, PS4 or Xbox One.

Super Lucky's Tale - not a bad, but too simple 3D-platformer for younger audience. Despite nice design, funny characters, high-quality localization and working mechanics, the project practically does not develop at all and it definitely lacks the variability, challenge and fresh ideas.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War is not a bad game, but it becomes repetitive and boring in the process. You still can have fun, but we recommend short playing sessions.

Metroid: Samus Returns is an amazing gift from Nintendo to loyal 3DS users. The reincarnation of the classic from Game Boy proved to be so interesting in its implementation that it is essentially a new game. A fresh look at the combat system and Samus abilities, new comfortable controls, beautiful world, interesting puzzles, exploration orientation and brutal bosses make Samus Returns one of the best projects in the rich 3DS game library.

Super Mario Odyssey is simply amazing. It should be included in game design guide books as an illustrative example of how diverse and rich the games can be, while still being understandable and convenient.

FIFA 18 lacks real innovations on big systems and has lots of shortcomings. This may lead to the fact that the old fans will not be addicted to the game as before. Switch version is the best portable FIFA experience ever, but sadly, it has lots of shortcomings too, and doesn't include a lot of elemets from PS4 and Xbox One versions, while costs almost the same.

Despite a number of shortcomings, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus surprised us with interesting stylization of the story about alternative reality, brutal action, powerful weapons and beautiful graphics. A weak finale and the absence of memorable bosses can upset someone, but in the end The New Colossus is still one of the best shooters of 2017.

Bloodshed's End is a satisfying ending to a story. We look forward to new cool projects from Team Ninja.

Lets face it: it will not replace DiRT Rally with a remarkable off-road, or Forza Motorsport 7 with a ton of content. On the other hand, GT Sport is 100% unique in its aesthetics, for which Gran Turismo is loved, and this game is still recommended to everyone who is not indifferent to racing and cars as objects of culture.

The Evil Within 2 is one of the most great and emotional adventures of this year. Developers, sadly, did not have enough time for polishing of the game and expanding open areas, but we hope that all the problems will be solved in the third game, if it, of course, will be released.

We still have a third, final episode of this story, but after the first two chapters, we can confidently say that we'll be more touched and fascinated by a bright ending than upset and disappointed.

Cuphead is the best reincarnation of Contra and Megaman, which one could only imagine. And given that this is the studio's debut project, we can't help wondering if StudioMDHR Entertainment is involved in the deal with the Devil ...

Beautiful game design, great mechanics, a variety of gameplay situations, sparkling humor of varying degrees - almost everything is perfect. But being a remake of a game, which was released 14 years ago, this project does not offer anything new to the old fans. Bowser's Minions turned out very funny, but not impressive in terms of gameplay. But for all newcomers and today's fans of the series this game can be safely recommended.
