Amid Evil is a new generation of retro shooters with fast gameplay, memorable design, excellent pixel violence and great weapons. References to the Painkiller and Doom here look more organic than ever. The only thing that causes disappointment is the lack of multiplayer, not always interesting episodes and sometimes boring bosses.

Death Mark is one of the best examples of visual novels in the genre of horror, which lost a bit of subtle humor during the translation into English, while maintaining a stunning atmosphere of Japanese legends and sticky, increasing horror.

Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn has proven to be an ambiguous port of one of Nintendo's best platformers on the aging 3DS. Technical limitations do not allow you to fully enjoy the graphic splendor and physics, and the lack of co-op can disappoint some fans. Mini-games with new characters and the ability to take the game with you a little smooth experience, so if you missed the Wii version and want to play on 3DS, you can try to catch up in a convenient portable format.

Devil May Cry for Nintendo Switch is a cult action game with great style, deep atmosphere and a fascinating adventure elements. Even after 18 years it is good to play. So it's really a shame that Capcom has not fixed all the problems with bugs and sell the game with a high price and without DMC 2 and DMC 3. Outdated PS2-graphics in HD looks tolerable in portable format, built-in achievements is nice addition, but until the publisher does not reduce the cost at least twice, it is better to spend money on something else.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is the game that Castlevania series' fans have been waiting for so long - with an interesting world to explore, well-developed locations, great and very atmospheric music, thoughtful progression and a diverse combat system. Small bugs and some design mistakes may disappoint, but if you have long dreamed of getting the spiritual heir to Symphony of the Night, just buy this game. But on on Switch. This version as of now is absolutely unplayable.

The game is exhausting, it's difficult to be in it for a long time. But because of the deep atmosphere, vivid characters and mysterious plot, it clings and doesn't let go until the very end. The experience is uniquely interesting, but requires additional polishing.

After completing the storyline, there is a feeling of emptiness. There simply isn't enough content. All these statements about the "season of dragons" from advertising resemble profanation. Numerous technical mistakes of The Elder Scrolls Online - Elsweyr just pulls it to the bottom.

Jagged Alliance: Rage! is a small-budget project, which clearly lacks unique features, polishing, depth and good plot. The gameplay is too monotonous and needs elements from the first games of the series. Hopefully, THQ Nordic will allocate more funds and find professional developers for a full-fledged Jagged Alliance continuation in the future.

Resident Evil 0 for Nintendo Switch is a good port of a classic project. It looks most advantageous in a portable mode, where all the roughness of the picture is smoothed out. Sadly, story is kinda bland. Game also lacks an adequate inventory system and some puzzles are illogical. If you've already completed an amazing remake of Resident Evil 2, as well as a re-release of the first one, but want another game with a similar mechanics, then you can try playing this release. But given the price tag it's better to buy it during a sale.

Observation is a very strong science fiction game with a rich story. It has excellent graphics and good puzzles, but suffering from pixel-hunting, visual effects and scripts that require consistent execution. But if you want something truly unusual in terms of serious space adventures, then you simply forget about all of these shortcomings while watching the mystical story and development of relations between S.A.M. and the most ordinary person - scientist and cosmonaut Emma Fisher.

Dark Devotion is a nice 2D version of Dark Souls with some changes that can offer exciting gameplay and interesting bosses. Peaks of difficulty at the end of the game and closing doors can upset many players, but these are the conventions of the Dark Devotion' world. And if you were looking for a replacement for Hyper Light Drifter and Death's Gambit, then you found it.

Total War: Three Kingdoms is not an ideal part of the popular series, but still remains a very addictive project with tons of gameplay. The idea of transferring the setting to Ancient China turned out to be a real trump card in the sleeve of talented developers, and the annoying flaws are likely to be corrected by the next updates.

Blood and Truth is currently the brightest and most memorable demonstration of VR technology in gaming. In addition to shooting, it offers dozens of mechanics for exploration, some kind of a non-linearity in missions and an interesting plot filled with action.
