Whether you are a veteran of the franchise or not there is a fun game here to be had by all.
A Fold Apart was a charming gaming experience with a story true to what being in a long-distance relationship can be like. I love its art style and graphics and its unique way of doing puzzles. I also loved the unexpected feature to choose the gender of your characters.
This game is a blast and suitable for all ages, the more people you have the greater the chaos you can create so the more laughs you'll have. There is variety in the different objects the game asks you to deliver, starting off simple and moving into crazy very quickly. You'll be delivering to the top of a blimp that flies around the island you are on via a helicopter in no time!
Element Space had choices that impacted the game like Mass Effect which I liked. Unfortunately, there were many bugs that caused the game time to be funny, frustrating, and annoying. A good game is there somewhere but the problems need to be fixed.
If you're new to the Final Fantasy VII series you'll have no trouble diving into this remake. On the flip side, if you're a fan of the original Playstation game you'll find a lot to love here and playing this version will definitely rekindle the flame! Final Fantasy VII Remake is certain to be on many "Game Of The Year" lists in 2020!
Alder's Blood is a tactical-strategy RPG with an incredibly rich story that will have you hooked from the tutorial. Where it lacks a little excitement in combat, it definitely makes up for it with the narrative twists and turns that grab at your collar and refuse to let go.
STATIONFlow delivers a fantastically engrossing dilemma. Starting from a simple platform, you'll build and maintain a single metro station. Sounds easy, yet it really isn't. An astonishingly deep experience that plays like Mini Metro from another perspective, STATIONFlow is on track for a successful launch.
Yes, Your Grace is a deeply moving and thought-provoking kingdom-management simulator with a brilliant storyline.
Even in the Early Access phase, Gordian Quest is a polished, solid game. If you enjoy the genre, you will get a few hours of enthusiastic card-slinging in the first Act as your party of brave heroes struggles to remove the curse plaguing the land. The game already features plenty of content to keep players happy and manages to carve its own little niche by combining CCG gameplay with roguelite and RPG elements.
At first sight, the game looks completely unique compared to old fallout or other turn-based games.
Overall Operencia: The Stolen Sun is a good introduction if you've never played a dungeon crawler type RPG before. It has a few rough edges and a tutorial that had me wishing it was over sooner. But this is balanced by some really great world lore, tons of great voice acting and great level design.
Despite having some good, and simplistic game play, players may find that it can get repetitive and become frustrating with the one life per level restriction. Luckily for Fantastico Studio, they have done a tremendous job with the ambiance and hilarious levels that may be just enough to keep some players engaged until the end.
The only thing that could affect the beautiful art, the incredible music and the simple gameplay of Stela is the fact that it ends much sooner than it should.
A move to Racoon City wouldn't be the best choice right now. Resident Evil 3 is everything that you wanted from the game the first time around. Rooted in the same claustrophobic alleyways of the first incarnation, this return to a classic manages to enhance the original while edging in its own direction.
All in all, Bookbound Brigade is a pretty fantastic and enjoyable platformer. Don't let its colorful exterior fool you, this little game has enough challenge to hang with other big boy Metroidvania titles.
Samurai Shodown, the reboot, for the Nintendo Switch carries on the traditions from the game's original introduction. With plenty of battle mode options and a plethora of unique characters to choose from boredom shouldn't happen anytime soon. The game's mechanics focus more on timely execution of a move versus stringing together a complex set of combos. This mechanic alone opens up the doors for more players, even those who are "fighting game challenged"!
Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories is a unique, sometimes earth-shattering experience. It doesn’t get everything right but it’s the nearest you’ll ever want to get to an earthquake and that works for me.
Ark: Genesis Season Pass - Part One is a new direction for Ark Survival Evolved, a popular survival game, developed by Studio Wildcard. This DLC introduces a new map split into 5 different smaller biomes. The big change though is the introduction of missions to Ark via your new companion HLN-A and it seems to have split the community.
While I did enjoy my time with this game, I don't think I will be revisiting it in its current state. If you have a hankering for an old school turn-based strategy game then you'll probably enjoy this. For everyone else though I think you may be a tad overwhelmed and disappointed with what's on offer here.
Spaceland was a fun and challenging experience that is pretty different from a lot of modern-day strategy games that have come out recently.
