7 / 10.0 - Weedcraft Inc
Apr 25, 2019

Weedcraft is unlike any strategy game I’ve had the pleasure to play. It definitely gets a high score despite the mediocre soundtrack and farming mechanics that can prove tiresome in the long run.

9 / 10.0 - World War Z
Apr 24, 2019

Overall, the game is a fast-paced team shooter, and it will take everyone working together to make it out alive. This game is very much like Left for Dead in its levels and gameplay mechanics. The game is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC for a price of $34.99 USD. For this game, I would say throw down the money and come enjoy the world that was brought to us in the movie. You won't see Brad Pitt in the game, but you will have one heck of a time either way.

All in all, SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech is a very good, if short, game.

8.5 / 10.0 - Dangerous Driving
Apr 23, 2019

Dangerous Driving is a fun-filled, reckless racing game that should satiate fans that hunger for more of racing classics like the Burnout series. There's also a home here for non-racing game players as well since being reckless in Dangerous Driving is not held against you! Being dangerous behind a wheel has never been so much fun!

8 / 10.0 - Mortal Kombat 11
Apr 22, 2019

Mortal Kombat 11 is a fantastic game with rich yet accessible combat and a great story. It's also mired in grind and randomness in the post-game and causes concerns about real money transactions.

8.5 / 10.0 - Back to Bed
Apr 19, 2019

Back To Bed is a unique, fun puzzle game with some minor platforming thrown into the mix. It's another great indie puzzle game for the Switch that plays well on the go.

7 / 10.0 - Cuphead
Apr 18, 2019

The problem lies in the gulf between a good game with unbelievable art, and a work of art. Cuphead gets so close to being more than a cool-looking game, but the gameplay and art style don't merge in any meaningful way. It's still worth playing, and it's still the best-looking exercise in humility and frustration that you can find on the market today.

With a deceptively linear quest and extremely accessible challenges, it is unsurprising that Hob: Definitive Edition, like RiME, is not the most cerebral challenge. It is, instead, a gorgeous journey that dutifully sweeps you away into another world.

Overall Whispers of a Machine is a fun well thought out point and click adventure game. This genre isn't for everyone, but for those who like it, then this is a definite buy.

8 / 10.0 - Anno 1800
Apr 16, 2019

Anno 1800, the latest installment in the Anno series is not just another City Builder. It's a great addition to the genre and the series. With new mechanics, great graphics design, and a fantastic soundtrack, there's not much to dislike about the game. If you're a fan of city builders, you will be pleasantly surprised by the quality of Anno 1800. Prepare to lose a lot of your spare time, you're going to sink a lot of time into this game!

My Time At Portia is an amazing simulation RPG game set in a charming, family-friendly setting. There's plenty of things to do in the game as well as several distinct types of gameplay, goals and approaches. Before you know it you'll be absorbed in the number of things you'd like to accomplish in the game as you whittle away hours on the real wall clock. What it boils down to is be prepared to answer the following question, best stated by Pathea and Team 17, when you pick this game up, "How will spend your time in Portia?".

Overall, the game itself it the standard shooter from a third-person viewpoint. The controls are basic enough for younger fans to play, and not very difficult to learn. Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain is a PlayStation 4 exclusive and is set to release on April 11, 2019, priced at $59.99 USD. If you are a fan of the series, like a die-hard fan, definitely pick this up for yourself. If you are just someone looking at the game because it looks interesting, then I would wait until the price drops. I definitely would not have paid the price for this game just based on a gameplay trailer.

Overall, Mechstermination Force is a pretty good title for the Switch. I wish it had full levels like games had in the '90s. It would feel like a much fuller game, and I think people would have a lot more fun. For the very low price of $11.99 USD, you can't go wrong with the purchase of this game. Just be sure all you want to do is play against bosses. Other than that, have lots of fun with this game.

While I do fully enjoy this game, there are some things I would like to have seen a bit more of including visuals for inside the ships that show the players changes. Maybe even a semi multiplayer mode where you can compare your progress with another to drive performance and challenges.

Overall, Yoshi's Crafted World is hours of fun for you and your whole family. Being able to step into a world with Yoshi as your main character will bring glee to any fans heart. He acts just as you remember from Super Mario World with all new tricks up his sleeve. For $59.99 USD you can own a copy of Yoshi's Crafted World and you will not regret it.
